Thierry Audel to leave Notts County

Thierry Audel appears to be the first player who's confirmed his future at Notts after he posted the following message on Twitter this morning:

"My NCFC adventure comes to an end, what great time! It's sad not to be part of the future plan but thank you to all fans and all the best."

The French defender is one of a number of players who are out of contract in the summer, but is understood to have been told he will not be getting a new deal.

Do you think this is a good call by Notts? Should Audel have been offered a new contract or are you happy to see him go?

Let PON know!

I think Audel was one of those borderline decisions.  I always liked his 100% attitude and he had some good games, but you always sensed a mistake wasn't far away.  On balance I would trust Nolan's decision as Audel wasn't even making the bench under him and you would hope he will spend the wages better on someone else.
