What has this world come to?

I just loaded my browser up which is set to show me news, along with bookmarked links for easy access. To the side of this very site there was the headline "Man allegedly kills wife, puts photo of her body online".

A horrifying crime scene hit Facebook Thursday after Derek Medina posted an image of his dead wife Γ’β‚¬β€œ and a blunt confession about why had killed

I am shocked, I do not know what to say but why Facebook???

I really don't know the obsession with things like this, I do enjoy listening to crime documentaries but when stories like this surface. I tend to avoid them, which again is odd when you consider I love slasher films and horror one's in general but real life crime, it's just very saddening.

Stupid if he uploaded images to Facebook.

Sorry, I don't want to read the link.

It takes all sorts....

Thing is, if he's gone and uploaded it to Facebook he clearly wants the attention which is now exacly what the media are giving him.

Some sick people in this world, its nothing new, its just easier for them to get the attention now. Look at history - Ian Brady, the Yorkshire ripper, etc. I cant help but wonder how people like that might have used the Internet. I know that sounds odd..

Thoughts go out to the poor woman and the rest of her family though. And anyone who saw the distrubing images online. R.I.P

To echo @upthepies,WHAT has this world come to?What worries me is the frequency ofΒ  these maniac murders. There is hardly a week goes by without someoneΒ  going around shooting people randomly or serial killings or some other atrocity.
