So Notts have lost 2-0 to Luton in the final pre season before next Saturdays league 2 opener against Colchester with former loane Jorge Grant scoreing.

Whats everyons thoughts.?

I'm a bit disappointed, it looks like the players may need more time to get match sharp.

On the evidence so far, we are a team of individuals playing as individuals. Never really tested their keeper and our central defence looks really suspect.

A complete inability to pass the ball and Jorge Grant "work rate", never thought I would ever say that.

Lots to sort out this week

I don't think the players are taking the friendlies seriously, I expect better against Colchester. I think its easy excuse them when some of the fans already have them lined up.

you just knew that grant would score but im not overly worried myself.

I am sure Kevin Nolan will sort things out, I do think its important you take friendlies seriously but we have several players who have knocks. I'm not disappointed, but I do hope the league games are better.

I'm disappointed but hopefully the squad will work harder to combat our concerns? I do think the squad is good enough to do well, yet for me I think the faults with the lack of organisation and the discipline show during the games (rather than a lack of quality).

Notts generally don't press or commit to challenges, so there's work to be done.

I do still think Fitzimons thrive from competition, he worked hard to get his chance and although it came from an injury to Collin - if he hadn't received the red card he got, I think he would have established the position has his.
