Ticket Prices Slashed For Crewe

This is a fantastic offer, one I hope the fans will take up. It's certainly one I hope encourages fans to flock in support, I know we haven't done that well but it's important we turn things around and it's even more required to see Meadow Lane busy. It's not the same seeing games without a busy ML and it's ultimately where we need to keep pushing aswell as the league.

£10 - Adults
£1  - Children

I don't care if this goes below my season ticket price, I want to see the fans come out and more of them at Meadow Lane. I hope the club continue to push for fans to return!

Exactly what was needed after a very poor start to the season.

If we win against Carlisle, I can see there being a few down at the Lane. However, if we lose, I only expect an average gate.

I think they should lower the tickets on a regular basis, we should really try to get around 8k for each game. If Pompey can get fans on board in such a way and not to mention other clubs, we should be able to offer competitive prices for a little while, at least until we establish a better gate.

Credit to the club for the offer.

I think that lowering the ticket prices - for a season or 2 - would inevitably increase attendances in the long run. However, I doubt Ray Trew would commit to 1-2 seasons of fairly big losses.

I don't know whether lowering the prices to £10 a match would bring in 8,000 unless Notts were well up the league and going for promotion, scoring plenty of goals and playing really well. I think people wouldn't want to watch dire football even at £10.

It will be interesting to see how many extra fans it brings in for the Crewe game, If we've beat Carlisle I think there might be a significant increase maybe 6,000?? But if we lose to Carlisle I reckon we won't get many more maybe 4,500-5,000 and the revenue will be down because the 3,500 die hard fans who come no matter what will be paying less.

It's all about progression really, if CK can implement his ideas and sort out where we're having issues. The way he's got us playing in the past two games could catch on, although having said this - it would require winning and not what happened at Carlisle. If we lowered the prices slightly, perhaps something to consider next year? Prices for around £18 would look attractive.

There's groups of fans who are very welcoming, so it's not all about how we do on the field but there's got to be a bit more in-place to convince some into seeing that ML can just be a great day out.

£10 - I think would work as a brief fix and I think it would have done better had the previous result been on our favour, although no doubt in my mind we were the better football team. Just need to make sure we can go into the bigger games with the same attitude and play, as I think it won't be the case personally. I think it's the lower teams we really need to be getting points and then who knows?

Meadow Lane really needs to start hitting around 6k consecutively, it's hard to see how we will improve without the fans...

An occasional £10 offer is good but i don't think enough revenue will come from it that way... even if theres more people going.

I think a price similar to what notts joe said would be good, because it would still make the price per game with a season ticket a better deal too.

The £1 offer for kids is a good idea to be kept on though as it would get more families going and more younger fans.

By getting families going there would obviously be 2 full price tickets.. which would easily make up for the usual £6 child tickets.
