Why did Kewell only make one change v Oldham

So Harry Kewell made only one change against Oldham .. which was Dennis for Duffy.

The one and only change was a attacker for a defender which probably means he went defensive and probably went for the point.

I cant believe he only made one change despite the players warming up  and the way we was playing.

I said to @Chris I can’t believe he has only made one change.

Thoughts guys and girls was he correct to make just the one change .?

I think Kewell did it because we was losing the second half defensively, everything came back and Fitzsimons saved well - yet his distribution from kicks is pretty weak. It made little sense to move Enzio up top, yet he should have scored twice!

I think taking off a striker to bring on a defender was silly and duffy of all players. Notts played better when he was injured just after nolan was sacked.

Playing defensively is ok but not if it means having no strikers on.

madness it annoyed everyone around me and it just leads to discontent, no team should park the bus at home or fear a side like oldham who was not exactly a goal threat. i know ross made at least 5 top class saves but most keepers should be expected to have saved them.

I’m still scratching my head and asking why a few days later.

I’m hoping it’s not cause he didn’t have a plan B

some people are a bit annoyed as to why he made one change they were loudly asking out aloud as to why.

But maybe he thought by going defensive it would give Fitzsimmons more cover or confidence or maybe just to hold on to a point which we needed
