Ratings vs Hartlepool

Slocombe 5 - Too many kicks went astray and could have commanded better

Brindley 5 - Should have got to the ball for the goal. Better second half at getting forward

Rawlo 7 - Won headers, kept recycling the ball and bought it out of defence

Turner 4 - Gave away too many cheap fouls and throwings. Turned into Kane at the end

DKE 7 - Always got forward and supported the attack

Reeves 5 - Well too deep for pretty much all the game. Didn't go forward enough

Doyle 5 - Same as Reeves. Too pedestrian

Walker 6 - Some neat touches and some good link up play. End product lacking

Rodri 6 - Not a great first half but became a vocal point of our creativity in the 2nd.

Enzio 6 - Struggled first half but upped his work rate and creativity in the second and should've just hit late on, instead of cutting in

Wootton 6 - Put himself in good positions to score but didn't finish. Much better link up play second half

Sam 6 - Was very lively when he came on and linked up the play well

Knowles 6 - As with Sam, very lively. How his goal is ruled out I will not have a clue in a million Mondays. So clearly onside it's criminal

Slocombe 6 A spectator for most of the game, not his fault for the goal

Brindley 5.5 Good forward runs but defensively perhaps should have blocked that cross

Rawlinson 5 Some good passing but a real mix up with Turner

Turner 3.5 Lost his man for Hartlepool goal, too slow and ponderous. Red card deserved

DKE 5.5 Always lively

Reeves 5 Shooting boots gone astray at times but at least got into positions

Doyle 5 Slick passing seems to have gone out of the window

Enzio 5 Some good moments but not enough of them. Gettting shots on target may help

Ruben 6.5 motm yet gets taken off. Only real creative spark to get things moving

Walker 5.5 some good moments too but flatters to deceive

Wootton 5 Not getting the rub of the green with refs. Not enough support play

Subs

Sam 4.5 I like him but has the goal scoring touch of Agana

Knowles 4 Good goal ruled out

Slocombe 5.5 - Nothing really to do. Almost caught in possession, no chance with the goal.

Brindley 5.5 - Gave away lots first half and looked very limited. Has he lost some pace? Looked slow for their goal. Better second half.

Rawlo 6.5 - Best defender at the club.

Turner 2 - Think it was his man scoring the goal. Numerous rubbish passes either astray or straight to them. Self-destruct was comical, but you could see it coming. You can say what you want about Turner, he's a man mountain that will perform at least a 6/10 in 3 games, but in that fourth game, he will be an absolute calamity. Is that what you want in a CB?

DKE 6 - Usual DKE performance. We are limited on his side because he doesn't have a left foot. That's not his problem, it's ours. Do we have a LB better than DKE? Or is the only one we have a long-term injury? DKE would start ahead of Brindley if we had a better LB option right now.

Reeves 6 - Too deep in first half. Dominant second. Finishing well-off.

Doyle 6 - Too deep in first half and some wayward passes. Dominant second.

Walker 6 - Takes risks and does well. Can't shoot.

Rodri 6.5 - Player. Gutted he hit the post.

Enzio 6.5 - Loving this new Enzio. Even when he isn't having the best game or it's not quite working for us as a team, Enzio is working his socks off, tracking back, tackling, trying to beat his man. Love seeing him arguing with the linesman about nothing decisions - it's exactly what he lacked in the start of the season. Long may it continue.

Wootton 6.5 - A lot better than in recent weeks. Some good link-up play. Needs to learn that when the officials are as incompetent as they were today, don't expect them to give you anything.

Sam 6 - He's a good player. Not sure he's a natural finisher, though.

Knowles 5 - He was probably onside. Other than that, he's not good enough to be any more than an impact sub with legs. We need more. Send back to Mansfield please.
