New manager bounce

Featured Replies

i dont think appointing a new manager would work, knowing notts the club would finish mid table and we would lose our best players. if ardley goes which he will at some point, it should be once our season is properly over.

until he fails to reach the playoffs its a waiting game.

This is what football is like, you have dry patches and poor spells.

At the start of the season the team looked fired up, a loss to Dover in the opening day had doom and gloom from a small minority. Judge Ardley at the end of the season, if we finish in the playoffs I believe he still has a job to do. Automatic is hard, there is no stability in dismissing every manager who has a difficult patch.

We should be capable of beating anyone in this league, new manager notwithstanding. Often there isn't any new manager bounce at all - we should know that from our own experience.Β
