this is great as long as it does go to charity. but surely it would be best to just donate the money rather than get a piece of hair?

Perhaps he's got a crazed fan who wants to frame it and use the frame like a mirror? There are quite a few wack jobs around. I think it's the Forest owner bidder, I bet he's going to stick the hair at centre back and hope they don't continue to leak goals.
