  1. Two wins in a row? Yeah, I think we'd all sign up for that before the game even starts! But, you know, it's not always a walk in the park. I'm feeling hopeful, especially since we've had a bunch of players finding the net lately. I just hope everyone is hungry for more goals. Once you start scoring, it kinda becomes addictive, right?

  2. George Abbott is a top player who should go far. Wycombe shouldn’t be as much of a challenge as it was coming here, as he’s now got a solid base and a year of senior football behind him. When he first joined us, he was nervous and still learning. Now he’s figured out the kind of player he is, he just needs to keep working hard.

  3. Once these players return, Martin Paterson will have plenty of options to shape his starting eleven. With Robertson, Ness, Traore, Tsaroula and Jarvis all capable of making an impact, it’ll give the squad a real boost and add some welcome depth across the pitch.

  4. I don’t understand how someone new can be this unpopular with fans already. He needs time to settle in. No one is perfect, and he should be given a fair chance to do his job properly.

In time, his love for Notts will grow, and once it feels like more than just a job, things will become much easier for him.

  5. I think the squad will feel more pressure to get that first win, especially with all the home fans watching at Meadow Lane. If the crowd is big, the nerves might start to show. That’s why I feel a bit uneasy about it.

Salford City can play good football. We can too, but if we don’t take our chances, they’re the sort of team that will.

  6. I’m happy to give JJ time in the attacking midfield role. I think he can still put in good crosses and do the same things he did as a wing back, just from a different area of the pitch. Someone else will need to carry the ball forward, but JJ can still be effective. I’d love to see Jodi score more goals!

  7. I think £500,000 is too low for a player who has proven himself in League Two. His value should be closer to £800,000 or even £1,200,000. If the rumours about his agent are true, then he’ll likely need to be sold. Otherwise, Jatta should think about changing his agent.

With his contract running down, we need to either extend it or sell him. Letting it run out helps no one.

Selling good players isn’t ideal, but losing them for nothing is worse. Some fans might complain now, but they’d be even more unhappy if he left for free.

  8. He looked fine to me. I think once he gets used to things, we’ll see him improve. It’s still very early days. You can't judge someone properly based on a friendly. I saw enough to think he’s got something about him. Looks like he could be a decent addition.

  9. We need to be patient with how things develop. Growth takes time, and reacting too soon doesn't help. The original post seems more worrying than the situation itself. It's natural to have questions about the new head coach and the players brought in. Not everything will click straight away, and that's okay.

The season has only just started. If after ten games it still looks like things aren't falling into place, then we’ll have a reason to talk. For now, let’s give it time to settle.

  10. Barry Cotter was sent off, but there was no punishment for the German players who tried to start a scuffle. It was a poor challenge and just adds to the feeling that these friendlies might not be the best idea.

The frustration is understandable, but you can’t react the way they did.
