Remembrance Sunday always touches the heart. It's a time for us to pause and honour those brave souls who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy today. Every poppy represents a story of courage and sacrifice.

It was great to see us play in a way that allowed Notts to create good chances. The only real difference was the excellent saves from James Belshaw. I thought we could have scored more, but the performance was what we needed, and the result showed that.

It's not a problem for us; we can give him the time he needs. I just hope he can find the inner peace to avoid feeling down over time.

Maynard's impact on Notts' defence can't be understated. His strategies have brought a sense of stability that was much needed. Let's hope the upward trajectory continues!

Bassy was outstanding as always. Without him, we’d have conceded and lost. Defensively, we put in a solid performance, but Alex Bass made the biggest difference with his contribution to the win.

Football isn’t always exciting to watch, but getting the result and keeping a clean sheet against a good team are always positives, in my opinion, that shouldn't be criticised.

I had no doubts about who I was voting for after the game: George Abbott. I think he put in one of his best performances for us so far. He was key in winning the ball back and pressing Chesterfield. It was an excellent game by Abbott. He didn't look like someone who hadn't played in big games before.

Kellan Gordon stood out for me. He had a tough time dealing with Port Vale’s heavy marking, but he did well to get crosses in. Dan Crowley also faced heavy marking.

Alex Bass is the obvious choice. He was outstanding, and his saves were crucial for us to keep the 2-0 win.

His performance made all the difference.

I'd start Didzy again; his experience is invaluable, especially in tight games.

I voted for David McGoldrick because I thought he put in so much effort into his performance and was one of the few players who dug deep enough in both halves.

It’s awful to think that some of our history has been discarded and used for scrap. Players worked hard to achieve those, and we might see them again.

Morecambe might not be in good form, but the Gillingham game shows that teams can snatch a win against us. We need to be better on goal to avoid that tomorrow.

He looks like a very good signing. He’s a young talent who had something about him to get Norwich interested, but he needs to find a good level of form to get into our squad. His previous experience doesn’t count for much, but I do think it’s an exciting signing.

I don’t buy into the rumours that Jodi Jones is out for four months. If people are leaking sensitive information, the club should look into it because it’s not good. It doesn’t make anyone look big or more important than others either. Report on facts, not rumours.

The Nest is awesome, but I hate how fans are complaining about the pricing now and saying it’s bad that they can’t reserve seats. For premium events, this should happen, but for regular league games, no, it’s not fair.

Today was just a normal school day. Now I am home, I can watch a bit of YouTube, play on my PS5, and come online. It’s been pretty cold outside.

Now is the time to be playing them. I hope Notts don’t have a blip and allow Morecambe to spring a surprise on us. I don’t mean to sound like I am underestimating them, but a team in this situation and poor form needs to be defeated.

I hope they don’t show more spirit and play their best against us. I really hope they play poorly and we capitalise on that.

Jacob Bedeau was the best defender on the pitch. Matty Platt put in a good shift but was caught out for their goal, which should have been disallowed. Bedeau was good and involved in all areas.

Frustrating game, poor officiating, and some very bad challenges. Did anyone see if it was Jodi Jones who was pushed off the ball and the referee gave a throw-in? Their goal was offside, ours wasn’t. Poor decisions cost us.

I have no idea, but football has evolved a lot over the years, and all sports put a demand on people’s physical bodies. I do think some parts are for the protection of the player.

I think we will do well. They might have a good defence, but they have not faced us. I do know they can be quite dirty, so I just hope the referee is able to manage that side of the game.

There are a lot of games, and at points in a season, especially with postponed games, they start to pile up towards the end of the season. That is the most crucial part. The Nations League, for example, is a silly idea because it brings in more fixtures, and the competition is not that good. It should be used to give players more international experience, but you still see most of the main players getting called up.

Yes, but I agree it must not come at the cost of focusing more on it than the league. Promotion is our main goal. We can always do well in the FA Cup once we are safely out of League Two. It could be the icing on the cake if we get promoted, to have a reward with a good cup run.
