  5. When I’m old enough to gamble, I hope there’s still space for me to join Lifeline. If we keep getting more fans and the club keeps doing well, then Lifeline should stay strong. I think it’s great that Lifeline helps the club get better. It started to save Notts when things were really bad, and now it’s doing a brilliant job. It makes me happy knowing there’s something like that helping the team. I’d love to be part of it one day.
  6. Hello, @ANTHONY PERKINS. Welcome to PON. See you on the site. 🤞
  7. I don’t see why Notts fans wouldn’t talk about other clubs nearby. Forest and Mansfield are part of the same area, and the rivalry makes it more fun. It’s alright to share news about them if you want to. Just talk about what you feel okay with. I don’t think they’ll finish higher than 8th again. It’s good when they do well and get into the Premier League because it helps the area. But every club has fans that get on your nerves, even ours sometimes. I didn’t like that you stopped at ego, but yeah, double doors do exist.
  8. Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. 🙂 Nice start to life here.
  9. @McPie @theAnticlough I really liked reading this about Notts and what the Reedtz brothers have done. Loads of great points in there and it makes you feel proud of how far the club’s come. If I was going to say something too, I’d mention how the start of the season was hard, but there’s still loads of matches left. Things are looking better now and we’re starting to play with more confidence. I think it’s normal for teams to have a bad patch sometimes. As long as they keep working hard and aiming for promotion, that’s what matters most. You’ve got to stick with it and believe it’ll come good.
  10. I really want Notts to play in the top leagues one day. It would be amazing to see us up there with the big teams. But even though I’m only 14, I don’t think we should just take silly risks and hope it works out. You’ve got to be smart about it. The Reedtz brothers seem like they know what they’re doing. They don’t rush things and they’ve made loads of good choices. With new staff coming in, we’re getting fresh ideas and that’s helping us improve. We’re still getting used to League Two, but we’re doing alright. Other teams keep saying we’re one of the best passing sides in the league. They’ve said it more than once, so it must mean something. I don’t really know what things were like before Alan Hardy, but hearing stuff like that makes me feel proud. It shows we’re heading in the right direction.
  11. Fleetwood’s chances didn’t trouble me too much overall. They had two good efforts, but Roos did really well to deal with them. Some fans will point to the two times he dropped the ball, but I think that’s a bit harsh. Given the pressure late on, it’s clear Fleetwood weren’t happy to settle for a loss. Notts handled that well. They stayed strong and didn’t fold, which shows character. I thought the team did a decent job in tough moments.
  12. Bolton Wanderers 2-0 AFC Wimbledon Doncaster Rovers 1-2 Bradford City Cambridge United 0-0 Oldham Athletic Salford City 2-2 Tranmere Rovers Walsall 2-1 Chesterfield Joker Forest Green Rovers 2-0 Hartlepool United Tamworth 2-1 Eastleigh Yeovil Town 1-0 York City

  14. Mai Traore’s injury seems odd; it’s never mentioned, and even when there is talk of injuries, it seems he’s become a ghost.
  15. He isn’t at his best yet, but he’s improving after every game. He doesn’t hide behind his absence from playing, and Ollie settling into life at Notts is another positive. I hope he can get on the score sheet soon, as that helps a new player to get off the mark.
  16. In earlier games, I felt our centre backs were pushing forward too much, while the midfield and attack seemed to sit back too often. It left us a bit out of balance. We’ve looked better against Shrewsbury and Bromley, with signs of improvement. But defending only works well when the whole team is organised and ready for it.
  17. One of these games, when Dennis finds the net, we’ll come away with all three points. It’ll be a proper reward for his hard work. He’ll get the support and praise from fans after the match that he truly deserves.
  18. Norwich City 0-1 Middlesbrough Joker Sheffield United 3-1 Millwall Bolton Wanderers 1-0 Lincoln City Mansfield Town 0-1 Leyton Orient Fleetwood Town 1-1 Oldham Athletic Gillingham 1-1 Crewe Alexandra Halifax Town 2-0 Forest Green Rovers Sutton United 1-0 Scunthorpe United

  21. Yes, Notts didn’t play well and the match didn’t go our way, but Salford are always tough like that. They deserved the win. Our players gave it a go and started to pull things together near the end, but it wasn’t enough. I’m disappointed, of course, but I still think we’ll be alright. We just need that first win to get going.
  22. I thought Matt Palmer had a decent game. He’s had a lot of criticism lately as captain, but he did plenty of good things out there.
  23. At least no one else has picked up an injury. I really hope Will Jarvis is back soon, he’d make a big difference!
  24. Oxford United 1-1 Portsmouth Stoke City 1-0 Derby County Exeter City 2-1 Blackpool Mansfield Town 0-0 Doncaster Rovers Gillingham 1-1 Walsall Oldham Athletic 1-0 Colchester United Tamworth 1-2 Scunthorpe United Joker Wealdstone 0-0 Truro City
  25. Archie Mair might be a good backup. He could play in some games to give others a rest. But I agree, Keele Roos looks like our main keeper now.
