Match Discussion: Game 11 - The Spireites (A)
I think we were a bit lucky, even though we played well at times. Both teams did well, but we gave away two very easy goals, even if the first one was a bit unfortunate.

Who is your Man of the match v Chesterfield?
Jatta gets my vote. He should have scored twice and was the threat we really needed.

David McGoldrick Back in Contention as Stuart Maynard Prepares Notts for Derby with Chesterfield
We need to focus a little more and aim to push forward. What a saviour Didzy turned out to be!

Match Report: McGoldrick’s Last-Minute Heroics Secure Dramatic Draw for Notts in Derby Thriller
I think we should see the point as a blessing, as the goals we conceded were quite disappointing. I'm pleased that we were able to salvage a point from the match.

Faces of PON 24-25: Port Vale (H)
I love seeing the Faces of PON. My family enjoys having their photo taken, and it's nice to look back. I've grown up through many of them, so I can see the change. Great job, @Chris!

Match Report: Magpies’ Dominance Undone by Port Vale’s Clinical Counter
I’m disappointed by the outcome. I thought Notts looked good, but the defending for the goal was poor. I wish the players would continue until fouls are given and make sure we don’t allow teams to have easy chances, offside or not.

Stuart Maynard Laments Offside Decision in Port Vale’s Decisive Goal Against Notts County
I think the changes show that we don’t have many options to turn games around. It’s fine if we are in control or winning. We really missed Jodi Jones yesterday, even though Kellan Gordon did well.
-
Who is your Notts Man of the Match v Port Vale?
One thing in common with whoever gets voted, I feel, is that they will have been relied upon too much to try to influence the game, without more involvement from the team to do something a bit different. I think Kellan Gordon deserved the Man of the Match.

TNS gave a good account of themselves in Italy!
It's the stuff of dreams. You'd never expect them to do well, but credit to them.

Super Sam Austin
I think some fans undervalue him because he comes in and out of the squad, but he's happy being a squad member and works hard. In his natural position, he's great, and even when he's not in it, you can't fault his performance. He's relentless in trying to influence the game, even if he's outmuscled or pushed around. He still keeps going.

Bluffem, Diddlem and Doem Down Estate Agents
55 Edwards Way is currently undergoing repairs but has a Scandinavian theme throughout the modern-style home. There is plenty of garden space for keen gardeners or those who enjoy running.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The Valiants (H)
Notts really needs to start winning home games again, but this is a tough match where we might need to be patient. I think it's winnable, every game is, but we need a top performance from the whole squad.

"I Believe We Can Push On": Kellan Gordon Eyes Success at Notts County
He has the right attitude. Notts needs to push forward, and I believe we can with the players putting in hard work.

Another Possible Loanee From Spurs Come January
There’s an issue with loaning players; we need them to be at good clubs, at a high level, and where they will actually play. Notts usually has the same clubs where the platform isn’t as strong. Some players might end up at the likes of Boston, but we should be looking at the National League, just below us.

The Notts Transformation Under Stuart Maynard
Every manager is learning, gaining experience, and trying to improve on the job. It helps Stuart Maynard that the board is giving him a platform to succeed. Their support last season was unlike many other clubs, and it was great to see because I think it’s helped us push on this season. Defensively, you could see improvements even when he first arrived, and with the new defenders, it’s gotten even better. He has a good squad, but he’s getting the most out of it. I like how he’s open to rotating players and doesn’t overplay anyone when it’s not needed. Some managers have favourite players or won’t drop the big earners, but Maynard has taken control of the squad. It was tough for him last season because most players were Luke Williams' signings. I’m sure they tried for Maynard, but he couldn’t change much and needed them to buy into his vision. He’s improving, and you can see it in how we play. We’re much more consistent and better overall. Credit goes to Williams and the managers before him for building the foundation, but Maynard is doing wonders in his own way.

Weekly Chat 30th Sept to 6th Oct.
I can’t wait for tomorrow to be over. A free weekend, then back to another long week. I haven’t done much except school and homework, trying to catch up.
-
In terms of the footballing wealth of the country, where does "The North" actually start?
Most clubs do well based on the wealth of the area they’re in. Oxford is a wealthy area, but their club has only benefited from being a good team to watch in the last decade or so. Now, they’re attracting more supporters, and I imagine that helps bring in sponsors, wealthy fans, and makes the club appealing to rich owners.

An Alex Bass Masterclass.
He’s a quality keeper, and we’re much better with his all-round game and excellent skills. Alex Bass could be our keeper for many years, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else competing with him at this level or the next.

September's Player of the Month: Pride of Nottingham
Well done to Jodi Jones, it was well deserved. Mistakes happen, but whoever gets voted for clearly deserves it.

Wallaby spotting in Notts?
Kangaroos can be dangerous, but what about wallabies? They look harmless, but I’m curious if they can kick. I wonder how they got here. They were probably released by someone, but it seems strange.
