  1. It was a very long journey, but I’m glad I could go, even though it was a school night. The 2-0 win was really good. I slept on the way home and dreamed about the goals we scored. Jatta’s first goal was really classy, the way he controlled it and finished.
  2. Yeah, my dad has the 150th anniversary white shirt. It’s a very simple design and could have looked better if it was more retro. I’m not a fan of shirts made just to make money, it’s not the right way to treat your supporters. If you’re going to do a special shirt, it should be good quality and up to the mark. I don’t mind Notts having the away shirt, but I don’t understand why the club sold the purple one as a limited edition and didn’t give season ticket holders a chance to get one before it went on general sale.
  3. I hope we can keep up our form. It would be great to get back to winning ways at Meadow Lane, but Port Vale are one of the strongest teams we’ve faced. We’ll need everyone to give their best to get a result.
  4. Yes, Alex Bass! I am pleased that votes were spread across the options, even though Bass emerged as the clear winner. It shows how others see things differently. I am impressed with his performance.
  5. Bass was outstanding again, especially towards the end. Kept us in the game when Carlisle started pressing. Easy choice.
  6. I’m so pleased Notts got the win. From the videos I’ve seen and the commentary, our fans sounded in great spirits. It seems like we’ve got more resilience this season.
  7. Norwich City 1-1 Leeds United Sunderland 2-0 Derby County Birmingham City 1-2 Huddersfield Town Joker Crawley Town 2-0 Mansfield Town Leyton Orient 0-1 Exeter City Doncaster Rovers 2-2 Barrow Newport County 1-2 Salford City Tranmere Rovers 1-1 Swindon Town
  8. I found it shocking that the referee didn't even stop the match. I understand why we carried on, and I'm sure Jodi wanted that, but the referee has a duty of care, and he completely ignored what was clearly a serious injury. I'm glad Jodi is staying positive and focused on coming back, though he must be feeling down about it.
  9. Morecambe’s defence was incredibly tight, making it difficult for Notts to create opportunities. They performed admirably at the back, but I believe we could have challenged them more. Overall, it was a solid draw, and we need to focus on the positives. Turning what seemed like an impending defeat into a draw was a commendable effort. I’m pleased we managed to secure that late goal, which shows our resilience. Let’s take this result in stride and build on the positives moving forward.
  10. It was a good draw. I think we have to accept that and look at the positives. We turned what looked to be a defeat into a draw. So, I am pleased we managed to get that late goal.
  11. Good preview. Morecambe played very similar to what was suggested. They made Notts work for chances and defensively they did well. But I thought we should have troubled them more.
  12. I really like Jacob Bedeau. I think he’s a very classy defender and works very well with Matty Platt. I like what he said in this article. His words show how Notts has transformed itself.
  13. David McGoldrick gets my vote for his work rate and effort throughout the 90 minutes. He put pride into his performance and deserves my vote.
  14. Middlesbrough 1-1 Stoke City Millwall 1-1 Preston North End Blackpool 2-2 Burton Albion Wigan Athletic 0-1 Exeter City Gillingham 3-2 Barrow Joker Newport County 0-0 Crewe Alexandra Woking 2-0 Sutton United Yeovil Town 0-2 Aldershot
  15. He looks like a good signing. It might have been him who asked for the short-term deal to keep his options open, but I hope if he does well, we extend his stay.
  16. He’s already been a great player, so calm, and the way he passes the ball to others, like David McGoldrick, is exciting to watch. It’s nice to hear his thoughts on Morecambe, but the focus is on us getting the win.
  17. We must believe in and support the lads. Although we all want promotion, every match will be a challenge, but a strong start is crucial.
  18. Halfway through another week, I haven’t had much free time, but it’s important to focus on my homework. There’s not much to say, though the rain has been pouring at times. It’s starting to feel more like winter now.
  19. With the injury worries we have, I hope this performance gives a chance to some of the youngsters like Riley Reynolds. It’s great that Kameron Muir came on as the youngest player, but I hope it means more of our homegrown talent will get chances in league games in the future.
  20. I agree with Stall, but we should also remember that we're one of the league's top teams for scoring, and the players who had good chances aren't strikers. Misses happen, unfortunately, we weren't able to overcome the poor officiating, but the players performed well.
  21. It’s tough for defenders to get the credit they deserve sometimes, but Jacob Bedeau definitely deserves my vote. He’s been brilliant and has played well all season so far.
  22. I think we need to win games like yesterday’s to have a chance at promotion, but one result doesn’t ruin it. We just have to be realistic and see how the results go. All we can do is give our best and hope the wins come.
  23. There’s not much I can say that I haven’t already mentioned in the article about Stuart Maynard’s thoughts. I think the positives are that we played well against a good side, created good chances, and still looked like the better team.
  24. I thought Notts deserved to get something from the match. Stuart Maynard is right, we had chances, but it just wasn’t our day. I don’t want to complain about the officials, but they were poor.
  25. Luton Town 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United 0-0 Derby County Bolton Wanderers 2-3 Reading Peterborough United 3-1 Bristol Rovers Bradford City 0-1 AFC Wimbledon Salford City 1-1 Walsall Hartlepool United 2-2 Dagenham & Redbridge Oldham Athletic 1-0 Yeovil Town ????Joker
