  1. Kelle Roos made some very important saves at key moments when the match could have gone a different way. A few of them were not the usual type of stop you see, but the double save on its own should be enough to put him in the conversation.

  5. Jamie Turley is another ex player of both teams, can we make a starting XI?
  6. These are the sort of matches Notts really needs to start winning now. Our results against the smaller sides have been a bit up and down, but things are starting to look more positive. Recent form has picked up and the performances have been much more encouraging. You can see the effort and belief returning to the team. Playing at Meadow Lane should give us a boost. The home crowd always helps, but Harrogate are tidy, well-organised side who can take advantage if we switch off. It won’t be easy, but the key is to stay focused, work hard, and make the most of any chances that come our way.
  7. I really appreciate all the hard work you and the team have put into the website. It’s clear that a lot of time and care has gone into it. As members, we should try to match that same level of effort. I include myself in that. It’s only fair that we support the work by staying involved and doing our part. I think the site is shaping up really well. I’m genuinely pleased with how it’s coming together.
  8. Stoke City 1-1 Coventry City Wrexham 2-1 Charlton Athletic Doncaster Rovers 1-0 Barnsley Exeter City 2-1 Wigan Athletic Joker Bristol Rovers 1-0 Gillingham Harrogate Town 1-1 Oldham Athletic Morecambe 2-0 Sutton United Truro City 1-2 Altrincham
  9. Is the goalkeeper department becoming the new place for quick exits at Meadow Lane, rather than the head coach or manager? It feels like there's always someone leaving. The last two coaches left in strange circumstances. If you're truly committed to your job, why would you step down to the National League just to work under someone from your old club? I'll say it clearly. I hope Darren Smith gives Kelle Roos the backing he needs. With the right support, Smith could help Roos improve and make it easier for Martin Paterson to deal with any slip-ups.

  15. Crewe are one of those games that could go either way. Form does not always mean much because both teams are still trying to find some consistency. I would be disappointed if we let them play us off the park or if we failed to give a good account of ourselves. This does not mean we have to be brilliant, but we should at least show that we tried and that every effort was made. I would like to see Nick Tsaroulla a bit more lively, and I hope whoever plays up front gets the service needed to create good chances. With a 4-0 win behind us, it would be great to follow it up with another comfortable victory.
