Notts County Sign Ex-Norwich Winger Josh Martin on Short-Term Deal
Josh Martin seems like a fantastic signing for us, especially given his experience at such a young age. The fact that he can play in different positions makes him even more valuable for the squad, especially considering our recent injuries. Hopefully, he settles in quickly and helps us push on through the season.

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
Yes, Bedeau played brilliantly and deserves to be named Man of the Match. He gets my vote as well.
-
Curtis Edwards Injury
Well, he ended the match and no news until now. It does seem a little mysterious since he left the field appearing fine. I did notice his absence from the starting 11 and bench against Bromley, but I thought nothing of it. I hope he’s back soon. It would be nice to know what exactly is his problem.

Fact of the day #Notts
It means little, but so much to us fans. I am sure the club won’t be paying attention to these stats, even if Stuart Maynard discusses it as he has in his recent presser. Take it game by game.

MK Dons boss targeted by Carlisle Utd
Well, he’s abandoned MK Dons rather quickly despite it being a dream job. Their board was probably regretting the appointment. Unfortunately, this might mean they start to become tougher as a team, as Mike Williamson was doing a terrible job. Carlisle fans might have more issues than Greg Abbott.

Jodi Jones Targets More Goals and Promotion in a Big Season for Notts County
When Jodi Jones puts his mind to something, he really goes for it. His determination, along with the contract renewal, has him performing solidly. Should we give Stuart Maynard some praise for understanding how to get the best out of Jodi and encouraging him to score more? Jodi will always have assists in him, that’s just his quality, but it’s great to see him scoring.

Stuart Maynard Prepares Notts County for Tough Bromley FC Clash
The contract extension for Jodi Jones is excellent news for Notts. His journey from battling injuries to becoming a pivotal player speaks volumes about his resilience and determination. Stuart Maynard's awareness of the physical threats posed by Bromley and his strategic preparation is commendable. The return of Alassana Jatta adds more depth to the squad, giving us a stronger edge in the match. It's heartening to see the squad’s unity and Maynard’s focus on long-term success. The fans’ support, especially during away fixtures, has been phenomenal and will be critical again. This season promises to be an exciting one, and I’m hopeful for another great result.

Notts County Stay Unbeaten as Stuart Maynard Reflects on Gritty Accrington Stanley Win
Stuart Maynard really has the team firing on all cylinders. His ability to adapt to challenges, like the absence of key players, has been impressive. It's refreshing to see how he manages to get the best out of the squad, and the tactical planning against Accrington Stanley was a masterclass. Really looking forward to what this season holds for us.

It could be wurst
You would be lucky to eat at a football stadium for less than £5. There is also the risk of food poisoning. It makes you wonder why the standard of food is so bad. I want Notts to bring back Pukka pies.

RIP Sven
Rest in peace, Sven-Goran Eriksson.

Sven-Göran Eriksson: A Legacy Remembered at Notts County
Sven-Goran Eriksson's presence at Notts County made a big difference. His leadership was important during difficult times. Remembering Sven's time at Notts County brings back memories of excitement and ambition. He was truly a legend.

Dajaune Brown at Notts?
I don’t know, but I think when we have our own players of this age, it makes little sense to sign or bring in someone else’s young player.
-
Forest Sign Grealish lookalike Jota Silva
He does look very much like Jack Grealish, but Forest will never be able to have our Jack. They can only sign imitations like this.
-
Saunders brothers
Only one person is allowed to be in the technical area under new rules. One stands near the dugout gates to the Pavis. The other is only involved in the training side, so he might be elsewhere.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Bluebirds (H)
Excited to see how the lads adapt to the new management structure. I want to see hustle, heart and that never-say-die attitude we're known for. A win would be stellar, but above all, let's keep our heads held high no matter the result. Expecting a sturdy defence against a cunning Barrow, possibly leading to a confident 2-1 to us. Let’s get behind the team!

Stuart Maynard Anticipates Notts County Debut After Unforeseen Setback
It’s great to hear such a wave of positivity sweeping through the club. It seems like Maynard is quickly finding his place and becoming a genuine Magpie at heart!

Notts County’s Future Under New Head Coach Stuart Maynard
It's heartening to see due credit given to interim guiding lights like O'Brien, Weal, and Alves – their service in a transitional phase is the stuff of true loyalty to the club. Alves' promotion speaks volumes of the club’s intention to build from within. With Maynard at the forefront, we're not just gearing up for a strategy shake-up, but a holistic evolution in club culture.

Luke Williams Reveals Strategy for Upcoming Clash Against Colchester United
Looking back on Notts’ win over Colchester United, it was a period when supporting the club was a real joy. We’ve made significant strides since then. Nowadays, we’re the team that others consider an easy match. It’s a clear indication of our progress and the strength we’ve developed.

Notts County’s Momentum: ‘One-nil Up is Not Job Done,’ Says Luke Williams
Like the attitude of relentless learning. That’s the spirit! Notts County might be a promoted club, but it's clear from the team's actions that they don't underestimate the challenge.
-
Luke Williams Confident in Notts County’s Ability to Achieve Sustained Success
I must commend Williams for his realistic yet positive outlook towards the season. He has clearly identified the problem areas and instead of shying away, he has gone deep into improving these aspects. His approach of performance over results instills confidence. It's about nurturing the team organically than seeking easy, temporary solutions.

Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Red Devils (H)
It’s a victory, and that’s the main thing. The first half wasn’t great, but games like this have their moments. I think the two key points were that we didn’t let in a second goal and David McGoldrick got us back in the game. The second half was outstanding and very satisfying. Much improved!

Notts County Triumphs Over Crawley Town with Convincing 3-1 Victory
The second half was masterfully played, as we not only managed to take the lead but extended it and shut down any hopes for Crawley to retaliate. Jim O'Brien's goal which took the lead and Junior Morias' goal for the security rightfully earned us the victory. This all-out team effort makes me think that there's so much more to come from this squad.

Mark Stallard’s Take: ‘Lack of Inspiration’ Plagues Notts County’s Play
Well, reading this analysis has resonated with my thoughts about Notts of late. The decline has been steadily becoming apparent, and it's not just down to a lack of inspiration. Sure, a creative spark can be the difference between a win and a loss, but when that spark is consistently absent, it begs the question, is there enough desire in the team to win away from home? Wimbledon wasn't the first time Notts County's performance felt lacklustre - it's been a recurring theme. Perhaps it's time to identify and instigate some radical changes to enable us to secure our strong start.

Luke Williams on Notts County’s Performance: A Tale of Two Halves
Hats off for the brilliant first half. Keep that momentum going Notts. Despite the final 45 minutes not being the worst, there’s no denying that some work needs to be done. However, it’s important to remember that the game could have taken a different turn if one of those chances had found the back of the net.

Notts County’s 5000th Game: More Than Just Points at Stake
Every game in football carries its own weight and implications, but the 5000th game is undeniably a matter of pride and emblematic of endurance. Notts has shown commendable consistency from the starting whistle of their journey all the way to their landmark game. Tomorrow's showdown, beyond the points at stake, is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of football in its purest form. Between the lines of strategy, team composition, temporary injury issues, and rivalry is the underlying factor that everyone should appreciate: quintessential endurance. In line with this, I am hopeful that our boys will show grit and courage on the pitch, making us even prouder. May the atmosphere echo our unified support for them!
