  1. I'm a huge fan of John Bostock, but he hasn't performed well lately, and he doesn't seem to be the same player without Matt Palmer. I don't want to unfairly single him out, as most players are responsible for our recent poor form. I'm curious if other fans think the absence of a reliable replacement makes it harder to bench Bostock.
  2. He expresses himself in a lengthy manner, making it challenging for me to grasp his point. The football pyramid shouldn't be straightforward, and numerous clubs are essentially small teams with big dreams. Accrington's chairman went from being refreshing to becoming quite dull and resentful regarding the potential to elevate them beyond League One.
  3. I don't want to seem like I'm criticising fans, but some who take pleasure in our struggles or expect us to be like Manchester City in League Two are a bit much. There's a lot to take away from this situation, but it feels harsh for some to now complain about our owners not supporting us in January. No matter how we view it, it's not a bad season, and I agree with you. Over the past few years, we've demonstrated that the club can progress. If we went up and immediately came back down, I imagine there would be more complaints. I prefer to see us ascend in good form, having made improvements, so we're better prepared. The Playoff Final against Chesterfield hinted that we might face difficulties against strong teams, as we did with Wrexham; we didn't have many challenges until now.
  4. Wrexham might have an easy time if we don't shape up. I overheard someone saying yesterday that we didn't perform well against higher-ranked teams and those in the top 10. Is it nerves or fatigue? Whatever it is, I believe it will require time, probably the rest of the season, to sort out.
  5. The performance wasn't too great, but we can't blame Stuart Maynard for it. The players should improve their defending, and the club must work on getting fans back as their support can be an advantage. Yesterday had many topics to discuss, but I'm glad the Kop stayed committed. Except for Scott Robertson and Dan Crowley, the midfield lacked consistency and quality. Jodi Jones had only occasional good moments, so I don't consider him despite his efforts.
  6. I haven't witnessed much success for Notts, but under the Reedtz, we finally resemble a club striving to progress, thanks to hard work behind the scenes. So, why can't some fans just be content? Why the rush for promotion this season when we're on the right track? Why scrutinize some players more than those making zero effort? I might be too young to grasp this, but I felt more hope when we were relegated from L2. It seems backward and odd. I dislike going on social media to read fans criticizing the players. It's unjust when the club is striving to be its best. Do we just have some terrible fans, or is it football in general? Stuart Maynard deserves a chance, and those always complaining about the players should hold off until the season concludes.
  7. I think it was a red card as well. I would have been okay with a yellow if he had touched the ball and showed some intention to tackle, but it seems like he was just trying to stop Jodi Jones at any cost.
  8. I’m hoping for a better outcome than last season. We should have a good number of supporters with us, and hopefully, we'll make it a competitive game.
  9. I understand the concerns, but I believe we should allow him some time. I don't see his appointment as a bad thing; he appears to be the suitable successor to Luke Williams. I don't expect to notice significant changes until several games have been played, but I have faith that Stuart Maynard will lead us to the playoffs, at the very least.
  10. I think Notts are doing well with the young players, and I hope Stuart Maynard is the manager who will give them more chances. Luke Williams has begun, but he tends to rely on experienced players. The youngsters won't gain experience if we don't start giving them more opportunities.
  11. Stockport could collapse at any point just as we did; they're a good side but are often overhyped. I believe we should dominate them at times, but I think the game will be determined by whoever scores first. I don't anticipate it ending in a draw.
  12. Darren Bent thinks Manchester City should be allowed to overspend if their owners promise to provide funding for 5 years. I believe the teams should have a fair chance, and it's still not right for some teams to bend the rules.
