Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
It's very reassuring to hear about the ongoing process in such detail. Preseason training is a nerve-wracking time for both the players and fans, with nagging injuries and worries about fitness levels. Luke Williamsβ in-depth description gives me confidence that our players are in good hands. The delicacy with which minor injuries are being handled shows that the welfare of the players is of uppermost importance and no unnecessary risks are being taken.

Chicksen thoughts on efl2
I suppose we will have to see how the players react. Many of them have not played at League Two level before, so we are going to need the experience and the whole squad to work hard. Adam Chicksen, having experience at this level, will need to continue his performances from last season. It will be interesting to see how it pans out over the course of the season.

Where are they now? - Joss Labadie
This does sound like a very good signing for Solihull Moors. Good luck to Joss Labadie there.

Youth Scholars sign deals
One or two may have a bright future for Notts; we will have to see how they all do. I like what I have seen of Cisse; he looks like a good player and will hopefully come through to the first team given the chance.

Charlie Slater moves on
Itβs a shame and it is sad to see Charlie Slater move on. I thought he became better with each season and I wished we could have had a few more years of the Slater/Stall banter.

Salford away moved to Friday night
The thing that annoys me is that itβs solely to accommodate Salford, with no consideration given to Notts or us fans. Itβs a decision that reeks of biased politics within the Football League. I would like to see the EFL explain how this benefits everyone other than them and why itβs fair. They wouldnβt be able to, and for transparency, I think they should.

MAGnets links - Boston United
Mick Vinter started his career at Boston United before signing for Notts as a youngster. I think thatβs a good start to this.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
That sweet strike from Richard Brindley was the highlight of the match for me. It's great to see the players are getting more consistent with their form and delivering under pressure. The work Williams is doing with the team - focusing on maintaining compact defence and creativity in attack is evidently paying off on the field.

Notts Alumni: Ian Richardson
Ian Richardson is one of a kind; you wouldnβt find many footballers doing what he has done. His efforts towards collecting donations to help keep Notts alive are something that many fans underappreciate. He did it for the club and its fans, which is commendable. While some might say he wasnβt the best player, he always ensured that Notts had a presence on the pitch and worked hard. I would rather have him than one of those flashy players who simply donβt get it.

Notts Countyβs Tobi Adebayo-Rowling Makes Triumphant Return to the Pitch
He performed very well with the minutes he was given; his height provided us with something different. I believe thatβs partly why he started, and why Connell Rawlinson appeared to be the main centre-back, allowing Kyle Cameron to have the freedom to move forward. If we can maintain this level of performance from him while building his confidence, he should go on to prove himself even more. Itβs great to have so many options; Luke Williams will be pleased with it.

Dele Alli Exclusive
I hope Ali has everything in place to move forward. Admitting is the first step, seeking help is the second, but to truly heal, you need to consistently care about yourself over everything else. His time at Spurs originally was amazing to see, from MK Dons to a top-five club and England. That pressure could be a large factor in it.

Archie Mair joins Gateshead
Good luck to Archie Mair. I would welcome him back here, and I do think he could push for the first team, but he would need to be allocated a lot of time in games for this to happen anytime soon. Gateshead has signed a cracking keeper who also did well against Newcastle United yesterday. They led 2-1 but ended up losing.

Barnsley charged by EFL
It makes me wonder how strict the EFL is with clubs and their books if it goes back to 2017. They need to implement instant penalties for failing to follow the rules, with longer accounts and information taking longer to be given prompting a proper investigation. I do feel bad for Barnsley, but it does need to be cut out of the game.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Nottingham itself had a festival-like feeling in the bars and pubs. It was a nice change to see fans of both teams having a laugh and realising how good it is for our city that we support a local club. The pace of the game was set quite early, and although there were times when it lifted, it would naturally reset back to the original amount. This made the friendly a lot more enjoyable. The brief spells of rain never bothered me, and I thought the game itself was brilliant. Both teams tested each other, and the defeat doesn't bother me, nor did the manner in which it happened.

A Plea for Support from an Elderly Notts Fan
I donβt understand why anyone who pays to watch a friendly would get that emotionally involved that they would turn to being idiots towards young players. I canβt say a fan would do this. There is just no need, I canβt do anything but condemn it if it was a league match. If you call the youngsters and complain the club doesnβt give them a chance, you are more than a moron.

Macaulay Langstaff Sheds Light on Notts Countyβs Pre-Season Strategy
Getting Macaulay Langstaff match sharp and along with the other players, it will bring goals and I am more convinced that Notts has goals throughout the squad. Langstaff is a great player for our club.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Potters (H)
We will see Notts under more pressure, but it depends on the team Stoke City chooses. If they play a strong squad, it will be our biggest test in pre-season. I hope the lads do well.
