  1. I must admit, I'm excited by the transformation taking place at Notts. Luke Williams has introduced a style of football that's not only convincing on the field but is also a delight to watch. His commitment towards an attacking and attractive gameplay is laudable, and it clearly reflects through the team's effective style of play. The emphasis on teamwork and player cohesion have indeed turned the club into a formidable unit. Looking forward to the rest of the season, especially with the fuel of optimism emitting from Williams and the players.
  2. Kyle Cameron has amped up the game with his exceptional prowess. His goal against MK Dons was an absolute spectacle, the look on his face showed how much it meant to him. And I, for one, am glad his parents had it recorded, because that’s a goal we will want to watch again and again. His contribution to the team's positive run this season has been a standout. Looking forward to more engaging matches and stellar performances from him. Keep going, Notts!
  3. I agree with Williams' comment on Macaulay Langstaff. One has to have chances to miss them, and the fact he's getting them is nothing but positive. A real credit to Langstaff's relentless effort that he's getting into those dangerous positions regularly.
  4. All of us at Notts know what a sensational player Dan Crowley is, so it's great to hear he’s loving it here and relishing every game he plays. His comments about his fellow players only show what a tight-knit, encouraging environment exists at the club.
  5. While it may seem like Notts County merely managed a 1-1 draw, the result was indeed a commendable one. The excitement from the match is still palpable! The belief in Notts County has always been strong, and Cameron’s pivotal goal seemed like a manifestation of the team’s destiny. His contribution is a testament to the collective effort of the team, which is a reminder of why football is so beloved. It’s not just about the game, but also about the stories of unity, perseverance, and determination that unfold on the pitch. The anticipation for the next match, armed with this invigorating energy and alongside fellow Notts supporters, is already building!
  6. I was at Stadium MK for this match and I have to say, it was an absolute thriller! Both teams played their hearts out and it was end-to-end stuff for most of the game. Macaulay Langstaff had a golden opportunity to put Notts ahead in the first half, but unfortunately he failed to find the target. The second half started with a bang as MK Dons took the lead , but thankfully Notts showed great character to come back and level the scores. Both teams had chances to win it late on, but in the end they had to settle for a point each. A fair result in my opinion.
  7. Crowley’s statement is indicative of two things: His respect for the coaches and his fellow players. Success in football is as much about camaraderie and respect as it is about skill and tactics. Trust in your team's abilities, combined with efforts towards self-development, is the recipe for success. Clearly, Crowley understands this and is eager to improve under the guidance of the coaching staff. Keep it up, Magpies!
  8. I'm genuinely impressed by how well the team has been doing, especially after the rocky start we had this season. With Williams at the helm, every victory feels even more satisfying. He’s not just a manager but a leader who drives this team to be resilient and confident. Well done to him and our boys!
  9. I appreciate that Alexander didn’t just downplay the challenge ahead. He accepted that it's going to be a tough test. That's sportsmanship. This should fire the athletes up, knowing that they have the opposition manager’s respect. Notts will just need to do their best and work together to face MK Dons.
  10. This match highlighted the effectiveness of our offence and Langstaff was instrumental in it. He's unyielding, steadfast, and his scoring potential is now well-established. If he can keep this up, we might not just stay on top but create a substantial gap.
  11. Williams' tactical brilliance is absolutely shining through this season and this match just solidified it. He knew exactly what strings to pull to guide the team to victory. His attention to detail and instruction to really understand the opposition were commendable. He not only gives them the roadmap but encourages them to pull themselves back during tough situations, which is the mark of a great leader. That's the way we like it at Notts County!
  12. Luke Williams displays, time and time again, why he's an extraordinary coach. His steadfast faith in the team, even in the toughest moments, and his ability to bring the best out of each player are evidence of robust leadership. With Williams at the helm, Notts County continues their inspiring journey, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for excellence. He underscores the importance of sincerity, focus, and consistent performances for long-term success. Given the trajectory we're on, it’s safe to say Notts is in for an exhilarating season ahead!
  13. Presumably replicating Luton Town's success will require a certain blend of youth, skill, and experience. It's intriguing how our manager recognises this, adopting a realistic and astute viewpoint. His confident outlook, combined with a realistic assessment of what lies ahead, is assuring. As we venture into our first season in League Two, we are reminded of every challenge that awaits, but also every opportunity to defend our honour and elevate our status within the league. Onwards and upwards, Notts!
  14. I love the sense of camaraderie and unity Rawlinson highlighted in his post-match remarks. His understanding of the role he plays as a squad player truly resonates. His acknowledgement of Luke Williams' influence and the impact of fan support gives the perfect summation of the spirit of Notts. A unified front, on and off the pitch.
  15. I think Luke Williams is a breath of fresh air. Much of this improvement is due to him, yet he is keen to share it. This is a very humble sign and a good indication that the club is in good hands. Tactically, there wasn’t anything that stood out as needing improvement. However, I do hope we keep one substitute back at times, just in case. Also, I hope the injury to Cedwyn Scott isn’t too serious and that he is pain-free and back on his feet in no time.
  16. The Faces of PON gallery is such a potent reminder of the bond we as fans share over our beloved Notts County. @Chris your ability to capture the electrifying game-day atmosphere and diverse array of emotions with every match is truly commendable. It feels like looking into a mirror. The photos reflecting our shared anticipation, victories, and even setbacks.
  17. What a gripping game! Despite some controversial decisions from the referee, we turned the tide and claimed victory. Notts demonstrated excellent teamwork, strategic prowess and determination. Looking forward to the next match. Every game brings new challenges, but I'm full of confidence that our squad can tackle anything.
  18. Looking at today's game against Tranmere Rovers, it's clear Notts County have managed to display a solid form, bouncing back brilliantly from their initial mishap against Sutton United. A three-match unbeaten run is something to be proud of. However, football is a game of uncertainty, as Tranmere Rovers could spring a surprise. Despite their average start, I would love for Notts to stay alert and maintain their league form. Tranmere's recent loss to Salford City could be a motivating factor for them to step up their game. Watching Notts cope with that pressure would be interesting. Given our home advantage, I hope our good form continues to reign supreme. Fingers crossed for a great result at Meadow Lane!
  19. He applies himself well and has the potential to excel in the role. Ideally, we could establish a strong partnership at the back with whoever plays alongside him. Some of the comments I have heard at games seem to reflect others’ inability to defend rather than Brindley’s. No player is perfect, but he is a valuable member of the squad.
  20. It's good to see Williams placing the need for constant progression and improvement over immediate successes. The recognition of our okay start and the current room for improvement is a testament to his humble yet ambitious leadership. His relentless push for development and focus on eliminating errors, rather than just applying a Band-Aid by calling for new signings, shows strength and long-term vision. I'm looking forward to more of the best from him and the team.
  21. Langstaff’s dedication and hunger for success, as demonstrated by his disappointment at not achieving a hat-trick, is commendable and the kind of mentality every player should have. The role of the fans in providing a morale boost for the team through their cheers and support is also crucial. With the team’s positivity and the fans’ energy, success is within reach, especially in the upcoming home games.
