I installed ceiling fans in our living room & bedroom twenty years ago & they still work fine on three different speeds but they are a little expensive to run continuously, so we've had a table & a floor fan working all day. If I won all that money I would love to buy Notts & invest in ways that would eventually get Notts into the Premier League, then into Europe. I would appoint a person with expertise to run the club day to day & appoint a football management team to recruit the best players at each level to ensure success for the club Notts would need a stadium to be able to match that sucees, so I would look at ways to be able to increase the capacity of Meadow Lane up to 40 K if it were possible. ML is the heart and soul of the club and I would be very reluctant to leave our famous old ground, but I'm not sure whether it could be extended to hold that amount. If Notts had to move from Meadow Lane I would still keep the stadium for the Notts Women to play their matches there. Of course the Notts supporters would have to be won over, but the new stadium wouldn't be just a soulless bowl. It would have to be similar in some way to ML with plenty of car parking space & easy access. The oldest professional Club winning the Champions League, followed by the World Club Championship would really be something. You never know, it could happen one day if a very rich benefactor came in with the same intention. We've seen it with other clubs so it is possible.

Good afternoon all. It's been a beautiful morning here. It warmed up very fast and looks like it will be the hottest day of the year here. I was up early to it the lawn before it became too hot. Will finish off trimming the hedges tomorrow morning. Just be careful to put on plenty of factor 50+ when in the sun more than a few minutes. It is very powerful as we approach the longest day of the year.The longest day is the 21st June. Can't believe it's a few days till the longest day then after about a five day pause the daylight will start to reduce once again. We've also been busy this morning assembling our desk top fans to combat the heat this weekend.
