  1. As far as I'm concerned, Notts are the best run club in League 2. The evidence is there right before us. If people take a look at how the club is progressing regarding the playing & commercial side, I don't see any other side in this league, doing things better than the Reedtz brothers are doing right now.
  2. Listened to Stuart's pre match presser today & learned that Dan Crowley brook a further knock & may be a doubt for the Crewe game. Cedwyn Scott played against Leicester in midweek and may make the bench on Saturday. There is a possibility that Jevani Brown might lead the line on Saturday so depending on fitness this would be my squad against Crewe. Bass Macari, Platt Bedeau Tsaroulla, Palmer, Hinchy, Gordon Martin, Abbott, Brown. Subs, Scott, Slocombe, McDonald, McGoldrick, Cisse, Austin, Reynolds The squad all depends on the injuries. Stuart may be keeping things close to his chest. For all we know Didzy may start the game just behind Brown, or Scott may lead the line with Brown supporting. We will have to see. The key areas will be to stay strong in defence & midfield, & take any opportunities that present themselves up front. I'll be happy with another draw against a very good side. A clean sheet would be marvellous.

  5. Pep Guardiola 'likely to quit Man City after huge offer' news - top source WWW.FOOTBALLINSIDER247.COM Football Insider has been told by Keith Wyness that Man City boss Pep Guardiola would...
  6. @Chris I don't know what gives with some fans. We won the match. We had a clean sheet. We scored a goal. 9 academy players played some part in the match. Ceds is back. Why can't fans celebrate that?
  7. Good afternoon. Nice Sunny Autumnal weather here today. The sub is low but still warm in the sun although the temperature is low. Looks like the neighbours around us are taking advantage and cutting the grass for the final time this year. Has anyone written out their Xmas cards yet? The wife was busy doing that yesterday. We always send our Xmas cards away early so it's all done and dusted. Can't believe the cost of a stamp nowadays. £1:65 for a first class & 85p for a second class stamp. The cost of everything is just going up & up.
  8. Another tough game coming up on Saturday. It's great news that Cedwyn has returned & scored his first goal of the season. This will give Stuart more options for the match against Crewe. I hope that Dan Crowley & Scott Robertson are got to return too. We didn't see Rob Cundy in the squad against Leicester. I wonder if he has a knock that stopped him being considered. A big positive for Stuart was the way the Notts defence & defensive midfield played against Leicester, so again, it gives Stuart plenty of options.
  9. @Pies79 I'd like to see Scott lead the line with Brown & Crowley just behind him. Scott deserves a chance to lead the line. I think that's his best position.
  10. Your Wednesday Morning Weather
  11. Unfortunately Notts are out of the EFL Cup why? With Burton winning 5-2 against Northampton, Notts County are officially out of the EFL Trophy on goal difference. Even though Notts beat Burton at Burton.
  12. A typical Notts performance tonight. Absolutely rock solid at the back once again. I'll take these 1:0 wins all season if we can keep getting clean sheets. Pleased for Ceds tonight, getting the only goal and well taken too Also pleased fo Sam Slocombe who's taken some stick over the last few months but as achieved a clean sheet tonight. And a big shout out for the youngsters who played their part in a good win tonight.
  13. A win for Notts. On the balance of play, they were the second best team. Leicester had all the individual quality but could not find a way through and that's credit to Notts." - Stallard
  14. Update. Yellow card to Rob McDonald. Notts 1 Leicester 0. 72 mins.
  15. Substitutions for Notts.
  16. Update. Leicester are pressing and have had a few corners early in the second half. Notts 1 Leicester 0: 54 mins.
  17. Update. Leicester are having the better of it since the Notts goal. Notts 1 Leicester 0. 44 mins. Ahead at the break "Leicester have dominated possession, they have shown the quality but they have not found a way to breach this Notts County defence." - Stallard
  18. GOOOOOAAAAAL. SCOTT What a way to announce your return, fantastic goal. Maybe he could have shot earlier, but moves it 5 yards to his right and there was nothing the keeper could do." - Stallard
  19. After 24 mins the match is fairly even with possession evenly distributed on both sides. Both sides have had several shots on goal but we await a breakthrough. Notts 0 Leicester 0: 24 mins.
  20. Update Notts 0 Leicester 0: 22 mins.
