I rate the best Managers that can build teams from scratch. That means identifying talent, not necessarily the most expensive talent, & building a team that can be a successful team no matter what league they are in. There are lots of management talent in the football league that will hardly ever be recognised by the MS Media & the pundits, but week after week they work to make good teams out of sometimes ordinary players. For me, managing a top premiership club doesn't mean they are the best managers. Being able to recruit the most expensive players from home & abroad, & have a full squad of players that any other club can only dream about makes their jobs very easy. I'd like to see Guardiola or any other top six PL manager take on a league 2 club with a limited budget for a couple of years and see how they get on. My guess is they won't fare any better than any other manager in the lower divisions.

It's positive that Notts have acquired the services of Josh Martin, because it will give Stuart options on the left, & he can also operate as a central attacker Curtis is going to be out of the side till at least January, & with Jodi being assessed regarding his recent injury, it is a good move by Notts. Josh has the opportunity to make an impression up until January, & if he succeeds, he could be offered a contract by Notts.

Josh is primarily a winger, so it looks like Jodi may be out for a time, but we will need clarification from the Club about that. Looks like Josh is here primarily till January, but I'm sure that deal could be extended if he makes an impression & figures in the first team.

@liampie Trouble is, the whole pitch may have to be dug up to prevent that sort of damage spreading to other areas of the pitch. Looks like there's a problem with the entire drainage of the pitch. It's going to be difficult to relay a new pitch or section of pitch this time of year. Wimbledon will have to lay turf instead of seed.

MK Dons came into being by being changed from Wimbledon FC. In my opinion that shouldn't have been allowed. When MK Dons were formed they should have been forced to start in a much lower tier of the league pyramid to be fair to other clubs. Clubs should no longer be allowed to move to a different Town & change their name to that Town or City.
