  1. My man of the match was Matty Platt who was a colossus at the back, & scored a strikers goal at the far post. I think Robertson made a difference when he came on, Austin, was as steady as ever & got the assist for the goal. It's wasn't Crowley's best game for Notts but he supplied the quality to release Austin in the area to cross for the goal.
  2. Stumps on Day 3. Notts will be in Division one next season.
  3. I voted for Platt today for man of the match. He was a colossus at the back for Notts once again and he got up the field to score a strikers goal too. Robertson made a big difference when he came on & bossed the midfield for Notts. Austin was as industrious as ever & got an assist by taking a great pass from Crowley & putting in a great cross for Platt to score his goal. Crowley didn't have his greatest game for Notts but was still orchestrating the Notts chances, & that pass to Austin to put him in was exquisite. Abbott was industrious & could easily have scored but for a great save from the Morecambe goalie Tsaroulla steady at the back & managed some penetrating runs too. McGoldrick worked hard upfront but only got a few opportunities today, but he was at the back to clear off the line in injury time to save a point for Notts, thus demonstrating his commitment all over the field today.
  4. Up to date League 2 table.
  5. The Platt goal that earned Notts a point.
  6. Here is my shortlist for the Notts man of the match Tsaroulla, Crowley, McGoldrick Robertson, Platt, Austin, Abbott
  7. Stuart has said in his presser that they are still assessing, & I heard it as talking about possibly only weeks out, maybe even just a few. Rumours are rumours. I think we should wait for a report from the club once they have definitively found out what the extent of the injury is
  8. Good summing up here????
  9. Full time Morecambe 1 Notts 1 I will take that. Morecambe a very physical side that played to their strengths. Notts couldn't cope with it at times, but the substitutions for Notts made a difference. Notts played poorly, but got the result.
  10. Update Substitutions for Notts.
  11. Update Substitutions for Notts. Should have been done at half time.
  12. Update. No changes at half time by Stuart.
  13. That first half was the worse from Notts this season. Plenty of work to do in the 2 nd half. Definitely missing Jones & Jatta. Notts need some pace so they can get behind the Morecambe lines. Changes needed by Stuart. I agree wholeheartedly.
  14. Update. Notts are not at their best so far. Morecambe's tactics are working perfect for them at the moment. Morecambe 1 Notts 0 42 mins gone
  15. Tea Warwickshire are 68/2 in reply to Notts 487 a/o
  16. Update. Should have been a red that.
  17. The match begins. That aerial threat has been realised almost immediately. Goal to Morecambe from a corner.
  18. My take on the side. Looks like Stuart has got half an eye on Tuesday night's trip to Carlisle. Gordon played well on Tuesday & I expected him in the side today. Thought McDonald would be on the bench too. Stuart is certainly making use of his squad & Martin gets a substitutes slot immediately. Does that also mean Austin at right wingback & Tsaroulla on the left? That's probably the plan. Cundy is probably there to help to combat the Morecambe long throws & aerial bombardment. Crowley needs to play further forward too, supporting Grant & McGoldrick. Stuart has pulled a few surprises but it's always good to keep the opposition guessing. I think this is a side that should have enough to get a positive result today.
