It's fascinating how those seeing the same match see things differently. It's the same when fans pick their Man of the Match or if a certain player hasn't played well in their opinion. Even professional reporters see things differently too.

Good evening all. Nice to see a day without rain. Managed to get out in the garden this afternoon to pick some leaves up, while Mrs R was baking home made mince pies, & biscuits for Xmas. During the evening we watched one of my favourite movies El Cid on the TV. It was on BBC I Player. You just can't beat the old Epics. They don't make them like that anymore do they.

I think that having an exceptional number 10, like for example Ruben, who scored 48 goals in 120 appearances for Notts & Dan Crowley, who scored 19 in 64 appearances, can be just as valuable as having a striker who may not even get into the side on a regular basis.

@Fan of Big Tone putting personalities & Clubs aside, does a club have a legitimate grievance if the Ref blows before the alloted stated injury time communicated around the ground by the fourth official? It's an interesting development.

An interesting takeaway from that interview for me was that if a player, for example, a striker was to be sold it might not follow that another striker would replace that striker. If the team could be strengthened in another area that may produce more goals, for example, in the AM or wingback areas, it may not need a like for like replacement. I would have thought that sort of thinking would only come into play if one striker was sold & not two. On other parts of the interview, pleased that the club plan to bring in another experienced goalkeeper to challenge Roos. Personally I hope that the club doesn't sell anyone, but just strengthens the squad. It would be a big blow if one or both of our strikers were sold on.

I think that no matter what Club it is. The Manager may have a legitimate grievance because the fourth official indicated two minutes injury time at the end of the first half, & the Ref blew his whistle and ended the half after just one minute.

I know that Notts are doing it because every one else is doing it, but it doesn't make it right. If someone feigns injury the fourth official could ensure the players are not coached & if the coach ignores the official send him to the stands.
