Connections game
@super_ram Fortunately I didn't have to guess the Baseball players this time. At least we only have to work out three from four rows Wife didn't follow US sports to a big degree.

The Wrexham Project
Sorry to be so sceptical, but Wrexham FC is just another example with what's wrong with our beautiful game. Enough said.

Weekly Chat Monday 8th to Sunday 14th December
Sorry to read you haven't been feeling well @super_ram Take care mate & keep warm. There are lots of different bugs going around. My wife & I have had our flu jabs this year from the local pharmacy. I'm told it doesn't stop the flu completely but should reduce the unpleasantness.

Jack Hinchy Recalled
Hinchy has a big opportunity here if he can get into the side as a substitute & impress while he's on the field. Hinchy has already shown that he has potential & I think that the way Notts play suits him.

@Piethagoram Well done👍

Newport County & Christian Fuchs
If he can save them from possible relegation, it will be a good achievement, but if he fails, it may well give him an opportunity to bounce straight back from the National League. The January transfer window will be key for him.

Match Discussion: League Two - Grimsby Town (A)
The big matches in December come thick & fast for Notts, as they take a trip to Blundell Park to meet a Grimsby side who have faltered of late, failing to win in their last six league matches. In contrast Notts have won four of their last six, with just one defeat. However, current form will count for nothing, & Grimsby will be keen to continue their fierce rivalry with Notts, & beat a Notts side in good form. In recent matches Notts have shown lots of grit, determination & spirit to get over the line against Bristol Rovers & MK Dons. They will need to continue that trait against Grimsby. Notts will still be without Skipper Matt Palmer & Scott Robertson in Midfield, so I expect Norburn & Iorpenda to continue to deputise in their places. Tyrese Hall is still suspended, so I expect Matt Dennis to continue just behind Alassana Jatta upfront. My Notts starting 11 against Grimsby, Roos, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Iorpenda, Bennetts, Grant, Dennis, Jatta. Subs, Griffiths, Ness, McDonald, Jones, Gordon, Traoré, Kouhyar, possibly Hinchy for Ness. Hopefully, Notts can get another convincing win, but a draw would still be a good result. My score 1-1.

Jack Hinchy Recalled
Listened to Martin's pre Grimsby presser this morning. Jack Hinchy was recalled from his loan spell as cover for injuries to Robbo & Palmer. Jack will be available to play if required. His reregistration shouldn't be a problem. Palmer should be ready to play in a couple of weeks but Robbo could be anything between two & six weeks before he's fit, due to his muscle injury
