After a night of reflection on the match, I believe that it was an excellent result for Notts. It kept them right up there & didn't allow Bromley to pull away which was very important. Swindon losing was an added benefit too. Working hard to grind out results like this one, even though Notts dominated the match for long periods especially in the 2nd half, is becoming part of the norm for this Notts squad this season. I felt that Notts dealt with Bromley's high energy & direct style of play very well. It was unfortunate that Notts conceded to a free kick into the box, but apart from the goal, Bromley were restricted in their overall threat. I'm sure that Martin Paterson is prepared for every game from here on in to be a battle. Victory isn't guaranteed in any of them. Notts need to play every game as if it's a cup final starting with a difficult trip to Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

I thought this was a balanced summary of the game by a Bromley fan. 🚨THE VERDICT🚨 I deliver the FBWL post-match verdict following Bromley's 1-1 draw with promotion rivals Notts County. Bromley are now 13 games unbeaten and four points clear at the top of League Two.

The Bromley Manager must have been watching a different match,. There was only one side that deserved more from the match and that was Notts.

Excellent team performance against an inform team. Platt, Jones, Grant the pick of the bunch for me. Jodi gets my vote for getting back to near his best.

A point for Notts against the league leaders. Keeps Notts in touch with the automatics & still a healthy gap to the team in eighth place. So who's your Man of the Match for Notts today? I have chosen the starting eleven. Those players are. Belshaw, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Norburn, Robertson, Jones, Grant Iorpenda, Dennis.

League 2 table after today's games.Notts in fourth place on goal difference.

I'll take the draw all day long. Pity about Robbo having to take the sending off for the team. Great to see Jodi on the scoresheet. We keep the unbeaten run going.

(1) Here we go. The match starts.Bromley 0 Notts 0

It's great news that Norburn & Robbo are starting after injury scares after the Barrow match. Dissapointing that Palmer and Jatta are still unavailable. McDonald makes a comeback to the Matchday squad, so it's still a strong Matchday starting eleven & bench with Conor Grant returning to the starting eleven after injury. Can Notts get their seventh win on the bounce? I think a draw would still be big.

Notts side to face Bromley.McDonald returns & is on the bench.

It's Matchday CMON U PIES!!

The Wrexham project is just a prime example with what's wrong with modern football. We've seen an example of the chaos it can cause just a few hundred yards over the River Trent. The Notts model of sustainability is an example of what clubs can still do with good housekeeping & a progressive financial plan.

I'm ok with that squad of players. I think we have cover in the important areas. Tsaroulla can play either on the right or left. If necessary, Macari could play right wing back. Jodi can play on the right & left too. The only player that is unknown in the wing back position is Enoru. We know he's ok on the right wing. I think that Martin will try to strengthen his defensive play. Cotter left out is not a surprise, .Robbo & Palmer will have to be looked after to ensure their fitness & we await McDonald's return. If Belshaw gets injured they would get an emergency replacement. If the squad remains fit, I think it is strong enough to challenge for automatic promotion. I think Martin already knows who is first eleven are & I think he'll persevere with that eleven unless their is tiredness & a player needs to be rested.

Great Interview. Highlights from his interview. His "beloved club," Notts County. A special time in his life, he loves the City & he loves our football club. The people are special, the players, the staff & the fans. Luke Williams is a special Leader who got Notts back to where they belong in the football league. Special memories for me & I'm sure they are for every other Notts supporter. I wish him all the best at Peterborough. Hope he can get them into the League 1 playoffs or even better.

Can Notts get a result at high flying Bromley ? It going to be a very tough game, but Bromley have all the pressure on them. They are top of the league and playing at home. On their day, Notts can beat anyone. They have proved it this season. Did you know that out of the current top six that accompany Notts in the top Seven at this time, Notts are unbeaten in seven of the eight games against those sides so far, with four games to go. Notts have won three, drawn Four & lost only once to Salford. That is a massive change to how we stacked up against the top seven leading sides last season under Maynard. Lots of the talk online is how we are going to stop Bromley. I think that Bromley should be thinking about how they can stop Notts & I'm sure they are. Of course Notts are going to be bombarded by crosses, corners, long throws & free kick situations. That is where Bromley are going to be dangerous. Notts have to work their socks off, work hard, be physical, keep their composure towards the end of the match & ensure they are not bullied. If Notts can stay resolute in defence & rely on moments of quality upfront, I think Notts can get a positive result on Saturday.
