  1. There is a Notts County game this weekend. The Notts Women continue their league campaign against Worcester City at Coronation Park Eastwood, Kick off 2pm. It's starting to get a little colder outside. Central heating turned up a little. It's been a nice warm summer on the whole & we managed to keep the heating off or very low for a long period of time. We plan to do a little gardening this morning. Will be removing some of the dead perennial flowers & cutting the plants down. They will come back next year.

  8. Notts Women meet Worcester City at Coronation Park Eastwood on Sunday 12th Oct at 2pm.
  9. It's been a strange Saturday with Notts not having a game today. I've been keeping up with my local team. My closest team is AFC Mansfield who play in the United Counties League Premier Div North, tier 9 of the football pyramid. They were playing at Hucknall Town but lost 0:2. That leaves them third from bottom of their league with 11 points. They need to improve. I'm pleased that some of Notts rivals lost their matches today & some could only manage a draw, so it leaves Notts still lying three points off a playoff spot.
  10. Conor Grant gets poor vibes for his lack of scoring but he does get into good positions to have a chance of scoring. That tells me that he does have a good football brain. Palmer, Robertson & Iorpenda don't score many but their presence & link up play leads to the front players getting chances the score. So as you say @True Magpie it's not all about pointing fingers about certain players not scoring, it's about players getting into good positions & players creating chances for others. If Notts keep creating chances the goals will come

  12. League 2 results, Sat 11th Oct.Grimsby, Salford & Crewe lostGillingham & Walsall drewMK Dons & Chesterfield won
  13. I think that Notts have been fortunate to get the services of Iorpenda, Luker & Hall on loan. They are very good young prospects & I'm sure they are going to have very good football careers. There is no doubt that team performance is improving & I'm sure those three players are going to have a big part to play during the rest of the season. Martin Paterson seems to have confidence in their abilities.
  14. Seeing that there is no match this weekend & no Man of the Match poll, I thought it would be interesting to see the views of the PON members after eleven games of the season. So where do you think Notts will finish this season after we've been seeing an improvement in performance and results during the last several games? Please vote your choice on the poll & tell us why you voted that way.
