Fleetwood Town Win: Best Home Performance So Far?
I hope Martin Paterson starts talking more about how the team plays and what went well. That might help the players do even better. He should still say what needs fixing, but not in a mean way. Just be fair and clear. If he does that, he won’t need to say he’s being honest. We’ll be able to tell by how Notts play on the pitch. It’s better when the football shows the truth, not just the words in interviews.

Martin Paterson Praises Winning Mentality as Notts Beat Fleetwood Town
I agree with what @CliftonMagpie and @allardyces tash have said. I do like Martin Paterson, but I think he’s trying to please the wrong group of fans. A lot of what he says could be used against him later. If results don’t go the way people want, the same fans he’s trying to win over might turn on him. It’s a risky approach. Being too careful with words or trying to manage opinions can backfire, especially when things aren’t going well. I’d rather he focused on the team and let the football speak for itself. That way, there’s less room for people to twist his words.

Pride of Nottingham Userbars for Signatures
I made a new one and I’ve got a few more that I’m still working on. I’ll finish them soon. I’ve got ICT on Wednesday, so I’m hoping to get a few more done before then. I was thinking about making some Notts-themed display pictures. I noticed some members don’t have one, and I’d like to help if they want one. I think it would be fun to make them look more football-themed.

Who's your Man of the Match v Fleetwood?
I think Ollie Norburn had his best game for Notts. He looked really strong out there. He played like Matt Palmer does sometimes. Today, Norburn was that kind of player against Fleetwood. He had loads of energy, running to defend and then helping with attacks too. He passed the ball really well.

Match Discussion: League Two - Fleetwood Town (A)
Fleetwood was really annoying. They kept doing stuff to stop Notts and mess up the way we were playing. They weren’t that good, but they did just enough to get what they wanted. I still think Notts played well. It was the first match this season where I thought we could win and not let any goals in.

Pride of Nottingham Userbars for Signatures
@Fan of Big Tone, It’s totally fine. I can show my teacher that someone’s using a graphic I made when I have ICT next. I don’t mind if people use them or ask for one. That’s what I made them for really. I just don’t want anyone taking them without saying where they got it from or giving credit. Here you go. =)

Match Discussion: League Two - Fleetwood Town (A)
Now’s a great time to keep Jatta and Dennis playing together. They work well as a team and could help us score more goals. The problem is, we don’t have many choices if one of them can’t play. Unless we put a young striker on the bench, there’s no backup.

Weekly Chat Monday 1st to Sunday 7th September
I’ve been making some userbar ideas. I’ve done three so far, all in different colours. I’m planning to do some with players on them too. I think they’ll make people’s signatures look more fun and show a bit of who they support. The only other thing is going back to school. I’m not really looking forward to that.

Statement from the owners
I think the message from the club was okay, but it didn’t really say much. It felt like they were trying to keep things open about Jatta and didn’t talk enough about the players we actually need. It sounds like Jatta wanted to leave, and maybe that’s why the club didn’t go ahead with the extension. That could be why they said he had a back problem, even if it wasn’t that serious. I don’t think the club would have been that bothered unless someone was really trying to sign him. It feels like they only acted because something was going on behind the scenes. It also seems like the message was just to calm down the fans who’ve been causing trouble. It doesn’t really help the rest of us understand what’s going on.

Pride of Nottingham Userbars for Signatures
If you see one you like, feel free to ask me to change it! I can make it match your favourite player or give it a new look. You’re welcome to use them on PON, but if you want to use them somewhere else, please ask me first. I’d like to know where they’re being used. I don’t own the logos, so I’m not saying they’re mine. But I did make the userbar designs, so please don’t copy or share them off PON without asking. I’m happy to give permission, I just want to be told first. Curtis Edwards leaves
He was really good when he first joined the team. He looked sharp and played well. But now the midfield is packed with loads of players, so it’s hard to see when he’ll get a chance to play. I don’t think he was quite the same last season after his injury. Being out for a while must’ve made it tough. He still tried his best, but I bet someone like him just wants to be on the pitch. I hope he finds a new club soon where he can play more. He deserves a proper chance.

Match Discussion: EFL Trophy - Lincoln City (A)
It’s kind of strange how loads of players who were missing have come back all of a sudden for the EFL Trophy match. Some of them, like Mai Traore and Will Jarvis, we haven’t even heard much about lately. I know the club said Scott Robertson might be back, but it still feels odd how they’ve gone from being out to suddenly playing. Is it just me who thinks that’s a bit random? I really hope they do well and show what they can do. We need everyone fit and ready so we can keep going strong.

Pride of Nottingham Userbars for Signatures
Last year at school, my teacher gave me a task to make old-style internet graphics like signatures. I looked on Reddit and saw that forums like Pride of Nottingham had cool userbars in people’s signatures. They look a bit retro, but I think they’re really cool. I saw one made by @CliftonMagpie and it has a modern twist. It looks smart and I really like the style. If anyone wants one, I’d be happy to make it for them. Just let me know. I’ve already made one with a Notts County theme, but I can customise them to anything you like. I’ll share it if people are interested. I can do the logo, the writing and the design idea. I’ve seen some examples on Reddit and I’ll make mine the same size as Clifton’s, 500 by 35 pixels.

If the injury was fake, then the agent would be doing something wrong. I’m not saying it definitely was, but if it was made up, that’s not fair. We don’t know for sure, but if it wasn’t Notts who said he was injured and it turns out to be a lie, then someone should look into it. Things like this can make people lose trust, even if it’s hard to prove. It could still be possible to find out the truth. If it’s all sorted now, maybe the best thing is to keep an eye on the agent and hope Jatta listens more to his team mates who want the best for him. @KingofCounty, I think lots of fans believe it was the agent’s idea and that Jatta wasn’t really injured. It sounds a bit dodgy to me. His agent has been saying silly stuff, like blaming the club because Jatta didn’t go to Germany. That’s just being childish. He’s meant to be a proper professional, and most agents wouldn’t get mixed up in things like that. It’s not a good look.

Do we need another striker?
Joe Ironside and Jayden Stockley play in a similar way, but I think Ironside is better at playing on his own. He seems stronger when he's up front without needing help. I don’t know much about Ollie Pearce, but I’ve seen people talk about him online. Some fans seem to like him, so maybe he’s good. I don’t think the club will sign someone who’s already played loads of games. It feels more likely they’ll go for someone younger, like Charlie Whitaker. He’s the kind of player who wants to get into the first team and learn. But finding someone who fits what the club wants isn’t always easy.

Who's your Man of the Match v Tranmere?
Notts were on top until Tranmere scored, and the left side looked strong. I did think we should’ve used Barry Cotter more, though. He looked sharp when he got the ball and had a few good chances. I gave my vote to Matt Palmer, but I was close to picking Rod McDonald instead. Nick Tsaroulla had a solid first half and looked better than Jacob Bedeau. Tom Iorpenda carried the ball well but gave it away too often with soft passes. He linked up nicely with Tsaroulla, but I think Tranmere’s height and rough play made it harder for him. Still, I thought he had a decent game.

Matthew Dennis and Kellan Gordon Seal Notts County’s First Away Win at Tranmere Rovers
I’m not trying to be mean, but I think Matt Dennis should’ve scored. We were lucky the ball bounced nicely to Kellan Gordon, and he smashed it in really well. It was funny when the Tranmere players all fell into the goal and the net. Their keeper acted like he got hurt, but it didn’t look real at all. I’m glad the ref and the linesman didn’t fall for it. They made the right call. Such a brilliant win! I’m really happy with how it ended.

Weekly Chat - Monday 25th to Sunday 31st August
I use my phone when I just want to have a quick look or reply to something fast. It’s handy when I’m out and about or not near my computer. But I like using my computer more when I want to really get into the chats and look around the site properly. It’s way better with a big screen and easier to see everything. The site still looks nice on my phone, which is good. But I’ll always pick my computer if I can. I’m not one of those people who’s always glued to their phone. Also, my arms aren’t that long, so reaching for my phone isn’t super easy anyway!

No More Mixed Messages
I get what you're saying, and I do think the club could do a bit more sometimes. But now that Jatta is back in the team, and Paterson said they had a chat during the week, I think things are sorted. If the agent is still causing trouble, the club can report it. Agents have to follow the rules set by the people in charge. They’re not allowed to be sneaky or break the rules.

If Notts are trying to keep Jatta, like turning down offers or asking for a big fee, then why let his agent stir things up? It doesn’t make sense. If he wants to go, just say it. It’s better to be honest than to keep everyone guessing. I don’t get why the club stays quiet. If they said we’re short on money or need to sell players, fans would understand. But instead, it’s all whispers and guessing. Notts are really good at letting rumours fly around for ages. I’m not saying they should talk every time something small happens. But when it’s a big deal, and loads of fans are wondering what’s going on, it would help to explain things properly. The media is meant to tell fans the truth. But our club, like loads of others, hides behind a mask. It’s like they’d rather let made-up stuff spread than just be real with us. That’s not fair. It feels like they don’t trust us enough to tell us the truth.

Weekly Chat - Monday 25th to Sunday 31st August
School starts again soon and I don’t have much time left. My mum and dad have cut down how long I can be online or play games. They keep telling me to go outside and see my mates more. I don’t just sit in my room all day, but I get why they want me to go out. Today I’m using some of the time I’m allowed. I could use my phone, but I like my computer better. It’s easier to see things and type properly. I’m trying to enjoy it while I can before school begins again. The weather’s acting weird. It looks sunny, but it keeps trying to rain. I think there’s a storm coming. I hope it doesn’t ruin the rest of the day because I really want to make the most of it.

Matthew Dennis Strikes Twice but Bromley Deny Notts County Victory
I think we played much better this time, especially against a strong League Two team. Bromley looked like they could get better as the game went on, and even though they didn’t have loads of shots, they still had some good chances. I think they had one more shot than us, and they probably should’ve got more than just a point. Their goal was really lucky. It somehow got through and ended up in the net, which was a bit unfair. Even though that happened, I still feel good about how we played. It shows we’re improving.
