Merry Christmas! No, I’ve not gone crazy that’s what we are up to today, having our Christmas present. A bit late as it’s been difficult to get a time when all 4 of us are free, we are off to a Derbyshire restaurant for a posh 3 course,, child free, lunch with our son and daughter-in-law. It’s the best sort of present, it doesn’t need shelf space, we don’t have to dust it and the memories will last forever. It will be nice to talk without the kids, although we do enjoy going out with them it’s rare to have an adults only chat so will make a change.

I’ll do my best in front of the telly, hopefully they’ll hear me.

I wasn’t confident before I’m even less so now, so it looks like another season in league two, I hope Didzy recovers from his injury ok he must be gutted. I agree with @Chris he’s definitely worth another years contract.

Morning all, happy Thursday. it’s a cloudy start. We had a nice walk along the Trent embankment yesterday and into West Bridgford, browsed around a few charity shops and had lunch in a cafe, I managed to avoid the temptation of the nice looking pubs with people sitting outside enjoying the sunshine, we went in a cafe for lunch. Today the Tesco man will be coming with our weekly shop which seems to go up in price every week, apart from that no other plans we’ll see how the day unfolds.

I’ve been wondering what’s happened to Morias, is he even still at the club? I haven’t seen or heard his name mentioned for ages. If he is fit he could be our secret weapon. I’m not holding out any great hopes that Notts can win at Wimbledon, I’m pessimistic so at least I won’t be disappointed when the inevitable happens. 😒

@Robbie they said on the weather tonight that we’ll get rain for the bank holiday weekend, shame for the folk who were hoping to get away but as you say the gardens and farmers desperately need some rain.

The Nottingham Forest forward is now in an induced coma after surgery on a stomach injury after he collided with a post in Sundays match against Leicester. It was only a matter of time before a player was seriously injured due to the stupid off side rule that means the assistant referee can’t put their flag up early. My thoughts are with him I hope he pulls through.

Morning all and happy Wednesday. I was really pleased with the dentist yesterday she took one look at the broken tooth and said that she could repair it, which she did there and then with no fuss and best of all no needle, I thought that I’d have to have it out eventually because a big chunk had broken off so it was a real bonus to not only keep it but now it’s good as new. Today we are going for a walk along the river, it should be nice in the sunshine have a lovely day everyone.

I’m glad you’ve brought that up @DangerousSausage yes I saw that too the goal should never have been allowed and the players should have been appealing vociferously, I don’t like to see players surrounding the ref but other teams do it to our disadvantage.
