Morning all (oh it’s afternoon), afternoon all. Did anyone watch the Exeter v Forest match last night, it went on forever, 2-2 after extra time in spite of Exeter having a man sent off and Jammy Forest won on penalties. 😡 We’ve just got back from a long walk (well long for us) I think we’ve increased our stamina at York where we walked lots, it’s all good for keeping fit and hopefully losing weight. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Hopefully they’ll make us an offer, it’s clear he’s not favoured by Maynard so his chances here are limited.

This is really bad news, I agree with Menzinho a lot seems to have happened in the last few weeks and it’s bound to have a negative effect on the club eventually.

Part of me wants Derby to stay up because I hate to see a grown man cry @super_ram 😝 However part of me thinks how great it would be if we went up and Derby came down, we'd have Derby, Mansfield and Notts in the same division, that'd be great.

@Chris It sounds like for every enjoyable activity you managed to have you suffer for it later, it must be so frustrating for you. 😪

There were lots of things that were great in the 50s as you mention @Chris but there were also things that weren't so great, I know we all moan about the doctors and NHS these days but medical procedures have advanced so much since then, some of the methods used in those days would be considered barbaric now, people died of things that are curable now, children were treated very differently by teachers, nurses, doctors etc., they didn't have the compassion they have now. Homosexuality was a crime people who chose to love one of their own sex were hounded and hid their sexuality for that reason, thank god that's now changed and anyone can be what they want to be. Food was very basic and bland for the general population, working class people had to work very hard to maintain a decent standard of living. When I think of my life now and what it would have been like then as a pensioner I don't think I would want to go back to those times to be honest.
