@super_ram excuses excuses, anyone would think it’s your birthday or something.

It’ll be just like Notts to go and win this just when we are expecting the worse. I would put Slocombe back between the sticks, I’m not blaming the young keeper for last night but I think with the defence being so shaky we need experience in there. The only way to get out of this is if the players stick together, I’d send out the same team apart from in goal and let them make amends with at least a good performance if not a win.

It’s probably getting a bit too much for you now old timer.

This was a truly awful result, we really should have bolstered the defence during the transfer window and for that the blame lies with the recruitment team, certain players simply are not good enough for this league. Maynard just has to try and turn this around for his own sake but he’s got a mammoth task, we’ve gone from promotion hopefuls to relegation form and it’s not his fault but he’s the one who’s got to sort it out.
