  1. My opening word is usually the first thing that pops into my head, I think if I got it in one I’d be disappointed because I like working it out, so when @super_ram takes five or six goes he’s actually exercising his ancient brain.
  2. “When asked about what he enjoyed seeing compared to the previous game, Williams emphasised the importance of energy. "Energy and aggression were back. There was a period where we didn't make enough tackles in the middle due to fatigue, but the substitutes brought more bite. Junior's pressing was fantastic, giving everyone a lift." Got to agree with Lukey Boy, I love it when Notts play with energy and aggression this is what fans want to see as long as it’s controlled aggression of course.
  3. Well done @Piethagoram Wordle 894 3/6* ⬜????⬜⬜???? ????????⬜????⬜ ????????????????????
  4. I managed to stream this live while on holiday in Whitby and it was an exciting match, I feared the worst when we went one down but I needn’t have worried, if there’s on thing we know of this current squad is that they are capable of fighting back from adversity and they certainly didn’t disappoint. All three goals were great Didsy and Jim’s goals were sublime and I was delighted for Junior Morias as he scored his first goal from open play, you could tell it meant the world to him and his team mates were obviously delighted for him too.
  5. I decided to subscribe to PoN after reading another forum which was full of annoying adverts, it made me really appreciate PoN, adverts are a useful source of income which helps with the running costs of websites and forums which for a site like this can be very expensive and for a forum/website to be ad free is very unusual and means funding must be found elsewhere. So if (and only if) you can afford a few pounds a month to help @Chris and his team continue the excellent work on here then I urge you to click the link below and look at the options. Every member is of course valued whether you can afford to subscribe or not. https://prideofnottingham.co.uk/subscriptions/
  6. Wordle 893 3/6* ⬜????????⬜⬜ ⬜????⬜????⬜ ???????????????????? And me, tricky though.
  7. I couldn’t agree more, in fact I was coming on to say almost exactly the same thing, I’m delighted for him and now hopefully he can kick on if he’s given some game time. The first half I was worried Slocombe seemed to be really struggling the fact that he was taken off injured at half time perhaps explains this, Stone came and dealt with everything that came his way admirably. Overall a good positive showing from Notts especially in the second half, we need to start working on our goal difference now so we can move up the table.
  8. It’s imperative that we bounce back and Notts play like we’ve been accustomed to seeing them play, we got some great players for this division there’s no reason to think we can’t beat Crawley on our own patch. COME ON BOYS SHOW SOME PASSION!
  9. Oooh, I’ve just found out I can stream the match while here in Whitby on holiday, so it’s a night in with fish and chip supper and Notts on the box, thankfully this place has a smart tv.
  10. What a lovely story, it’s good to see fans migrating from over the river, Wendy’s fund raising for the British Heart Foundation is also very admirable, well done Wendy keep up the good work. And as far as I’m concerned it’s always been cool to be a ‘pie.
  11. Welcome from me to @Laura Cameron please join in our discussions we won’t bite honest.
  12. Wordle 892 3/6* ????⬜⬜???????? ????????⬜???????? ????????????????????
  13. This will be familiar to most people.
  14. Hello @Darryl Chapman it’s good to see you here, enjoy.
  15. And welcome from me too @samantha louise I hope you’ll join in the discussions you’ll be made most welcome,
  16. I’ve got great respect for Mark Stallard and I love to hear his thoughts on the game, thanks @PON_News for posting this article as I missed the commentary and the analysis afterwards.
  17. I’m really excited to see Chicksen back but I realise he may not be up to speed after a long lay off. Go Chicks!
  18. It’s a brutally honest assessment from Luke Williams as always, I’m confident he will turn it round and come January he will hopefully get a chance to strengthen the team defensively.
  19. Wordle 891 4/6* ????⬜⬜????⬜ ????????⬜⬜???? ????????⬜⬜???? ????????????????????
  20. A warm welcome to @magpiemad I hope you enjoy being a member of our friendly community.
  21. Notts need to bounce back in this game otherwise it will seem we are on the slide. I’m confident that we can win at home in front of our own crowd.
  22. Wordle 890 3/6* ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ????????⬜⬜⬜ ???????????????????? 3 that’s better
  23. I assume the fourth goal was because we were chasing the game? I have just arrived at Whitby so I haven’t been listening to the radio commentary.
  24. Wordle 889 4/6* ⬜⬜????⬜???? ⬜⬜????⬜???? ????????????⬜???? ???????????????????? That could’ve been better if I’d made the right choices. Glad you are getting out and about but also glad you’re back on here I miss my daily wind up.
  25. I’ve just finished watching the whole video, it’s really interest to get an insight into the running of the club from the horses mouths as it were, there’s a lot to look forward to in the future it looks and sounds like there’s a great team off the field as well as on it, as for Luke Williams he really could do a good job as a stand up comedian with some of his answers, excellent stuff. ????
