How to beat Bromley? That’s a very good question to which Sir Jimmy would probably reply “ye need ta score more goals than them, if ye dinee score ya cannae win” or words to that effect, apologies to any Scottish Notts fans. Seriously, I agree with @Robbie and @McPie we can beat any team and we shouldn’t fear anyone in this division but everyone has to give 100% for 90+ minutes, I’m pretty certain that Martin will have them up for this in spite of the fact he’ll probably say it’s just another game, he knows how important it is.

I noticed on the Notts website that the supporters club have a new permanent office and seem to have had a bit of a revamp/recruiting drive. https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2026/february/06/update-supporters-club/ Is anyone here a member of the supporters club? Is it worth being a member? It sounds as if they do some good work raising funds.

Good morning @Michael D Pie. the only other S I enjoyed was sand, I can’t think of anything else I enjoy beginning with S these days sadly. 😂 Sorry to hear your chest infection is no better, I hope things improve soon. I’ve decided I need to strengthen my arm and leg muscles as I visited a very low public toilet whilst away and struggled to get up off the seat my legs weren’t strong enough, then by the pool we grabbed a couple of sunbeds, Mrs. T wanted a parasol for a bit of shade but I could open it my arms weren’t strong enough to push it up, a very friendly German chap helped me out how embarrassing. So on with the exercises.

I think Bromley will go up, also MK Dons and hopefully Notts, Chesterfield would be a good shout to win the playoffs. Having said that I’m sure there will be lots of twists and turns until the end of the season. Having kept our best players and strengthened the squad and IF we can keep relatively injury free, it surely could be our year. 🤞

Yep that the era I started watching Notts, I remember Gerry Carver very well. RIP Gerry.

He said in an interview he was glad to be back in Nottinghamshire because he can see some of his friends at Notts more often. He spoke fondly of playing for us.
