Good morning, it’s been raining during the night so it’s a bit damp out there. Mrs. T isn’t very well and apparently now you can’t phone the doctor you need to go on line to fill out a form to tell them what’s wrong then they decide whether you need to see a doctor or not. The form opens at 8am so we are up early to see if we can fill it in and get her seen. I don’t know what you do if you haven’t got internet.

Really really disappointing result. Notts seemed to be very pedestrian, what happened to playing on the front foot with pace? It’s an embarrassing result against a team of part timers. Brackley thoroughly deserved their win and good luck to them in the next round. As for Notts we need to learn from this defeat and come back stronger in the next game.

Back home now after a good journey, I’ve just been catching up on a few topics and un featuring a few old ones and spotlighting some new ones. I see I’ve been promoted to a “community expert” while I’ve been away so I’d better live up to it. 😂

Bugger I missed this round as I was busy sunning myself, I’ll have to do extra well next round.

That’s a tough schedule for Notts they’re all six pointers, I hope we can win a couple and maybe draw a couple but let’s get through November first, it’ll certainly be an interested battle at the top.

I’m looking forward to watching this match on the box, on paper it should be an easy win for Notts but as we know football isn’t played on paper, we do need to treat Brockley with respect and not be complacent, as @Robbie says current form means nothing you can be sure they’ll be up for it. We are due a good cup run, I hope MP chooses a strong side so we can get in the next round.

I’m really pleased to see that Luke has got a job back in football, I wish him every success, except if and when they play Notts of course.

Good morning, we’ve just docked in Southampton after our two week cruise with the family, we’ve all had a fantastic time. Now a long drive home and then start the diet.

Good morning from Cadiz in Spain, we are slowly cruising back to Southampton, a day at sea tomorrow then a day in Vigo, then home to Southampton on Friday. The cruise has been fabulous with lots of good food and hot sunny weather, just nice to set us up for winter. Here’s a shot of the beach at Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.
