  1. Be there for Forest!
  2. Wow! What a signing this would be. I would be so happy with this appointment. Fantastic replacement for Adam Campbell! Lets hope this comes through. Hardy is definitely going for the quality over quantity.
  3. I agree with everything said here. If there is any club Forest should be helping it out it is us. Promoting their young talent in the lower leagues could spark a transfer for them in the future so it's a win, win situation for both clubs. We get the goals and the memories (hopefully) and they get the money at the end of the loan/transfer spell. Would be happy to see any young talent from Forest at Meadow Lane.
  4. Fantastic News! Lets hope Ibiza give the lad a clear head lol.
  5. Good to see that investments are being made elsewhere at Meadow Lane Sounds petty but having a good playing surface next season will be something we can be proud of.
  6. I'm happy about this decision. Good role model as well!
  7. Fantastic appointment! Glad he is staying at Meadow Lane.
  8. We really need him. However I think he is to good for league 2. Hardy best have some money to throw his way otherwise he is going to go elsewhere.
  9. Not sure about this one? Lacks some football league experience I think but on the other hand shows some passion and judging by his comments in the interview seems quite skillful. What does everyone else think?
  10. Carrying this mentality through to next season is vital. It is really promising that both players, coaches and staff are all pulling through and trying to achieve big for this club. Team chemistry seems to be at an all time high right now. Lets hope we announce some signings this window to boost this morale we already have even higher! COYP!!!!!
  11. I think Nolan and Hardy have made good decisions here. I just hope we can keep a similar team to last season and just add to the team but unfortunately that is never the case with league 2 football. Only one that looks a 50/50 to me is Adam Campbell, he has scored a few this season and is very quick. However I understand if the wage bill has to be brought down to make way for new players. So as long as we replace well I can't see a problem with any of the decisions made here.
  12. I think GK is our struggle point in the team. Collin does not communicate well and always seems to be having arguments with Richard Duffy. However having that young 18 year old keeper Smithard I think it is could be gamble as a substitute now Loach has left. As exciting the prospect is of tying down a young keeper to the club, can he step up to the big time if Collin becomes injured? We shall see
  13. Brilliant news! There is a few hints in there about players I think as well. I think it is likely we will see Jorge Grant again as he was out of contract this summer meaning a free transfer. I think by looking at the news and updates we can really push for at least play offs next season but putting pen to paper is a different story. Lets just hope it all glues together.
  14. I'm sorry but I can see where Mr Hardy is coming from. A silly trophy can be turned into a big thing for the club. A trip to Wembley for the fans, bringing some silverware home for the fans. Stuck in League 2 has very little financial benefit for any club so it's important to target competitions like this in order to add some extra revenue. Unfortunately the game we love is turning into a business and that goes for any club. As fans we have had the opportunity to say what we think in a democratic manor so we just have to grit our teeth and get on with it. Might I also add that we should consider ourselves grateful we even had a say because this would have been in the hands of the executives in the Ray Trew era.
  15. Grant is a must. He is young but has plenty of talent. If we have any budget this year it should be to sign this guy. We have the potential to build a team around him in Nolan's desired formation. Scoring 6 goals as a CM assisting a few as well in half a season is an achievement in itself. He has really stepped up to the plate when needed to. He is a blessing in my opinion.
