Notts County picked up another point in a dour stalemate against Morecambe in Saturday's League Two encounter at Meadow Lane. Neither side was particularly impressive, with crosses from Matt Tootle and Enzio Boldewijn the most that the Magpies could conjure up in the first half. At the other end, the Shrimps saw defender Steven Old head over the bar at the back post after connecting with a Richie Bennett cross. The second half was little better, although Boldewijn did test MorecamUpdated by PON_News

Notts County's unbeaten home record this season was maintained in dramatic fashion on Saturday by overturning a three-goal deficit to claim a 3-3 draw with Cambridge United. However, goals from Lewis Alessandra, Shaun Brisley and Jonathan Forte rescued a point against all odds. This ensured that the Magpies wouUpdated by Joe Jones

Notts County were beaten 1-0 by Exeter City on Saturday in cruel yet wholly predictable circumstances. The League Two encounter at Meadow Lane saw the Grecians fall down to ten men yet they still went on to win, in injury time of all times. Nicky Law was the match winner, stooping in to head in a Donovan Wilson cross three minutes into stoppage time. to crush Magpies hopes. Notts County's season continues to move in an upwards trajectory after an impressive display - albeit with a temporary blip - in a 4-2 win at Wycombe Wanderers in Saturday's League Two encounter at Adams Park. Richard Duffy opened the scoring with a header and some comical defending led to Adam El Abd scoring an own goal to see the Magpies two goals up early on, a position retained at the break. Wycombe, to their credit, fought back and clawed two goals back, but perseverance from NottUpdated by Chris

Notts County ended Saturday level on points with 22nd-placed Yeovil Town in League Two after rescuing a 2-2 draw against Northampton Town at Meadow Lane. Mitchell Rose had put the home side ahead with a long-range effort not long before the half hour mark after Kane Hemmings had seen his initial effort blocked. The Cobblers, however, drew level just a minute before the break, Daniel Powell turning home Sam Hoskins' cross. The start of the second half then went completely pear-shapUpdated by PON_News

Notts County gave the travelling Black and White Army a real scare in their 4-2 win over Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park on Sunday. The League Two clash began superbly for the Magpies, who took the lead through a Richard Duffy header before being gifted a goal thanks to a defensive calamity finished off by Adam El Abd's own goal. However, the Chairboys came back strongly in the second half and drew level, with Nick Freeman and Joe Jacobson striking back and leaving Notts rattled.Added by Joe Jones

Notts County put in a woeful performance as Crewe Alexandra ran out 3-0 winners over the Magpies in Saturday's League Two clash at Gresty Road. Motherwell loanee Taylor-Sinclair got the scoring underway with his header into the far corner of Alex Palmer's net from Charlie Kirk's delivery following a short corner routine. Although Notts had a couple of chances, the Railwaymen doubled their lead on 77 when Ryan Wintle turned in Perry Ng's pull-back from close range. Substitute JamesUpdated by PON_News

Towards the end of December, I didn't really expect Notts to make many signings, if any, during the January transfer window. Some sources claimed that no signings would be made at all. I stuck to hopes that we would see some sort of inbound movement within the transfer period at Meadow Lane. I think more than anything I was hoping we would sign players on a permanent basis. Yet I did think if any movement was made, it would mostly be in the form of loans, and I'm not against thatUpdated by cheeky~k8

It's definitely been a bittersweet day today at Meadow Lane. The club has unveiled its new kits for the 2018/19 season, and the home shirt will go on sale tomorrow. In addition, it's the first day of pre-season, so now it's collision course for the friendlies and just over a month away until the league starts again! Alas, we've had to bid farewell to Mike Edwards, the very definition of "stalwart" and a man who is thoroughly loved among the Black and White Army. The talentedUpdated by Joe Jones

Mark Cooper's magpies' unfortunately suffered their third back-to-back defeat, as Shaun Derry's Cambridge United triumph away from home. The U's Luke Berry opened up proceedings as he charged down County keeper Scott Loach's clearance and the ball flew into the far corner of the net. County pulled back on level terms as Haydn Hollis met a Liam Noble free-kick. However, Ben Williamson got the winner after a goalmouth scramble. -- Pride of Nottingham's Notts-Joe and Joe JonesUpdated by Chris

With three games left in League Two this season, Notts County remain in dire straits as they lost 2-1 against MK Dons at Meadow Lane. Second-half strikes from David Wheeler and Chuks Aneke consigned Neal Ardley's side to the foot of the Football League once again. Ben Barclay netted a late consolation for the beleaguered Magpies in injury time but it came way too late for it to have a meaningful impact. Notts County have unveiled their new kits for the 2018/19 season. The Magpies released teasers of the new Puma shirts throughout Friday before the full unveiling in the evening. The home kit retains the vertical black-and-white stripes that Notts are famous for and "pays homage to the very popular kits of the 1990s by incorporating yellow into the design". The away kit, meanwhile, "sees the Magpies continue with their cool combination of blue and white – with a pinstripe twist".Added by Joe Jones

Fridays's League Two kick-off saw Notts County host MK Dons at Meadow Lane and once again lose 2-1 to the Dons. Neal Ardley's side managed to hold onto a goalless draw at half time, but as the second half began the pressure was mounting as MK dons striker David Wheeler scored a goal in the 62nd minute. The Magpies tried to get back into the game, but Chuks Aneke wrapped the game up in the 85th minute with a solo goal. Notts County managed to claim all three points against Grimsby Town on Saturday as they ran out 2-1 winners at Meadow Lane to take their fight for League Two survival to the final day of the season. The breakthrough for the Magpies came in the second half when a cross from Mitch Rose took a deflection before finding its way through to Craig Mackail-Smith, who touched it into the net at the far post. Jorge Grant and Lewis Alessandra scored a brace apiece as Notts County claimed an emphatic 4-1 win at Morecambe on Boxing Day. The first goal came after former Magpie Adam Campbell gave the ball away in his own half, culminating in Alessandra cutting the ball back for Grant to rifle home. The former Shrimper then turned scorer when a free kick was headed down for the winger to drive into the net on the half-volley.
