Notts County have completed the season-long loan signing of Sheffield United winger Nathan Thomas.
After making just three appearances for the Blades since his 2017 move from Hartlepool United, the 23-year-old spent the second half of last season with Shrewsbury Town where he scored twice.
Notts manager Kevin Nolan told the official club website: βNathan is someone weβve been really interested in for a very long time.
βHe had a fantastic offer from Sheffield United but, because theyβve done so well, he hasnβt been able to establish himself.
βBut they still think very highly of him β thatβs why itβs only a loan β and heβs one whoβll excite our fans.
βHeβs got bags of quality and makes things happen in the final third. He puts balls in the right areas and heβs got a trick β heβs one of those whoβll get you off your seat.
βHeβs probably what we were missing in the final third last year so heβs a great coup and weβre really looking forward to adding him to the squad.β
Notts owner and chairman Alan Hardy added: "I would like to thank Sheffield United for entrusting us with Nathan's continued development.
"During our discussions it's become clear that we share several philosophies and ideas and we're hoping to establish a long-standing relationship between the clubs.
"We have shown with players like Ryan Yates, Jorge Grant and Ben Hall that we provide a brilliant environment for young players to come in and improve and hopefully this will be the first of many players to move between Bramall Lane and Meadow Lane."
