I didn't get chance to watch it on Christmas day, I actually forgot. I can't even remember why I looked it up, however I noticed some clips on youtube and felt tempted to watch. I didn't, I searched for the full episode. Sadly BBC have taken it off the Iplayer, yet I have my ways of finding things.

As a kid I loved Open All Hours, especially because it starred Ronnie Barker and David Jason.

Did you watch it? If not, here's your chance. - Just click 'Watch as Free User', This is 100% safe I can assure you of this.

Yes ,me and Super watched and enjoyed it .It wasn't the same without Ronnie Barker though. Also being a 'one off' there wasn't any chance to develop newer characters and situations.Still better than a lot of the so called comedy that's on TV nowadays.

i was surprised by how many of the former cast they managed to get back together, plus many new popular tv stars. i missed this on christmas, so its nice that the video is on here.

We watched it at Christmas but we were disappointed to be honest, it just seemed really dated, the sort of thing we laughed at years ago but things move on.

I'm personally glad they handled it in this way.

Granville had swopped places with his uncle, sort of a fitting tribute for me. I found it to be pretty funny, it doesn't take itself seriously like modern sitcoms and the special guests was a great touch. The tea part had me laughing! :P

Yes @tonyhateley,the characters were brought up to date but needed more time to establish an up to date feeling.Ronnie Barker was sadly missed.
