I think Notts will bring in 2 players to replace Matty Palmer. A loan and a free agent. It will take a free agent some time to get match fit and used to the system. A loan player can fill that gap until then.

Well, we now have Dan Gosling and I think the club will be looking at extending his stay come January.

I don't personally see us adding another midfielder if Gosling does the trick, unless he leaves for a club higher up when his short term deal expires. The interesting thing is that it's a 2-month deal, it's almost like we have said - we'll give you football now, and we can discuss long-term wages in January. Here's something just to get you back into playing regularly.

The Irish league has sort of become a buzzword since we were linked with Conor Keeley.
