First month almost over, it's been a better start for us than the end of last year. PoN's almost on the date to decide it's member of the month, @super_pie is currently thinking about what he wants to write for his blog. I am considering doing my own - Though I'll probably find some form of article to draft up.

My days been painfully slow, lacking inspiration and rather tired.

Ellie on the other hand is very excited about finally recieving a school place, I won't start here but I'm just glad to see her happy. It's been very emotional for her and she's felt like the 'forgotten child'. With her uniform now all purchased, it's nice seeing her excited about wearing it and she keeps telling @cheeky~k8 that she wants to wear it every day until she goes to school. LOL

What have you been up to? If you read this, please do add a little about your day. :)

i cant say my days been any different, seems slow on here recently. where is everyone?

i have been sending my cv out to every job i find, not heard much back so far but i think eventually some will get back. just been watching the tv, tho im not really into day time tv.

Looking forward to listening to Rams v Yeovil tonight otherwise nothing much happening.Crap weather, wonder how many more matches will suffer.

Good luck with your job search @liampie.

Bet Ellie's looking forward to her school pre-visit.

We had both our youngest grandchildren for a sleepover, George is 5 and Freddie is 2 but thankfully they were very good and are in a routine of going to bed around 7 which gives us time for ourselves.

They slept through the night, we took George to school and Mrs H went to a toddlers group with Freddie while I got down to a mixture of housework and work on the computer.

Tonight we picked up George from school and then left them with their Mum went she got home from work. Tonight I am watching the football on BT sport while Mrs H catches up on some computer work.

How could you Not listen to The Rams ?

I don't think we can pick up Radio Derby, although having said that I've never tried if I am honest.

I have been doing my homework, playing on my mums laptop. School was fun today :)

Let me just tell you for once he jumped at the chance to do his homework! It normally takes him hours to do, he's either watching TV or avoiding it like the plague. Well Done to Jake + Ellie for this.

Today i've been cleaning the house as the kids have been at Grannypie's and Super_rams house the afternoon. So a normal morning with our 2 youngest, but the afternoon has been very quiet :P

Jakes model looked even better when it was finished and Ellie kept making more things.

Today I've been sorting stuff out relating to my jobs (loads of paperwork involved) and did a 4hr shift on Sports Mole covering Transfer Deadline Day, you'll be glad to know I was at hand to do the Notts signings!

Now I'm just about to get me some dindins.

i heard back from one of the jobs i applied for, they have asked me to visit them sometime when free. just to have an informal chat, told me not to worry about looking smart, just go casual. seems promising!

That does sound promising, I hope something comes of it.

I've been out having fun with my family, I don't normally get to do this on match days.

Went wollaton park

I bet that was a bit windy and chilly. :brr:

We had a walk just round the local area this morning, we walked about 3 miles for about an hour and it was very windy and cold, I had to hang on to my magpie peaked hat (treasured possession).

It was quite windy in certain areas today... chilly-ish, not too cold we couldn't walk around though. The kids kept hold of their hats and Ava's blew off a few times, but not far. It was a fun day out and we went into the hall for abit to warm up and look around.. then back out into the cold. All in all a good family day out.

I hope everyone had a great day.
