Mansfield have lost to Crewe today 0:1 at home, have now lost two games in the league this season. Barrow win.

Notts are still in touch with the leaders after today's games 9 points behind top spot.

Notts in sixth place on 42 points 9 points behind Stockport in 1st place, 7 points behind 2nd place Mansfield & 3rd place Wrexham who both have one game in hand over us.

Everything to play for going into the Grimsby game next Saturday.

I think playoffs is our most realistic target to be honest, but that will depend on new signings that still need to materialise. I’m currently expecting a defeat next Saturday but would take a draw just to stop this wretched run away from home at the moment.

I think we've got to get at least 12 wins and 2 draws from the remaining 22 matches, taking 8 more defeats which would give us 80 points total, which should get us in to the playoffs. 77 points could be enough but that's a stretch.

It is going to be tough to do it. It depends on many factors now of course. New Head Coach, New players, and can we keep Macaulay, Dan and others.

I don't think that's the best result for us to be honest - Mansfield are going up this season and we won't catch them. So it's better for us if they keep winning and deprive our rivals - like Barrow - of points.

I agree @DangerousSausage that the automatics are out of reach now and a sixth or Seventh place finish is what we should be aiming for now. Any higher would be a big bonus.
