I can't believe this happened! It's not like stealing artifacts from a museum is something new, but the fact that a former footballer was involved makes it even more interesting. I wonder what made him do this.

This is definitely something that would make for great television. I can imagine the drama that would unfold if this were turned into a movie or TV show.

I'm curious to know more about the ex-West Ham / Brentford footballer. What was his motivation for committing this crime? Was he struggling financially?

This is a clear case of greed. The ex-footballer must have thought that he could get away with stealing from the museum and sell the artifacts on the black market.

He might have fallen into the trap of needing money to maintain the lifestyle he’s accustomed to. I don’t believe one would suddenly start stealing or attempting robberies like this. He might be involved with a bad group, but it’s good that the situation has been handled and the artefact has been recovered. Once in the hands of greedy individuals, it’s easy for such items to disappear, even if the culprits are apprehended.

whatever the reason hes going to regret making the decision and if there is any real justice he will pay with time. its a silly thing to do.
