The County Road stand looking fresh and new there, it must have been four years old at the time. The Main Stand roof had already been patched up.

the family stand from the picture looks like an old fashioned school building. plus its nice to see the houses that were stood behind the kop and pavis stand. its a brilliant photo.

My grandparents once lived 5 minutes from the ground. I wish I knew if @GrannyPie lived somewhere in that photo. Obviously beyond 1927, but it does always make me interested.

It's probably one of the earliest pictures I have seen of our ground.

It’s a lovely picture of Meadow Lane from the past, which looks very different now. You can spot the standing areas that are now the KOP. The ground is still recognisable, and it’s interesting to see how the area has changed.
