A bitter blow for campaigners.

Ivanhoe Line revival effectively cancelled as Government cuts all funding.

Leicestershire’s Ivanhoe Line revival has effectively been cancelled after the funding for the project was cut. The plan's seeming demise has been labelled as a “bitter blow” by campaigners who were aiming to restore passenger services on the route.

£700m wasted by the Tories on Rwanda could have been better used opening up some of these railways

i think the waste of money with this is outrageous and should have been avoided.

i am not sure it would be worth trying to find a way forward even if labour could, not at the cost of other things.
