I'm still amazed that considering Jodi has only started 10 matches this season (and played 13 in total) he's still our 3rd top scorer and joint 2nd for assists!

Luckily I don't think Bedeau's injury is too serious and I'm hoping McDonald just felt a bit off tightness and came off so not to make it worse.

So @Robbie the Strong Rumor I wrote about was TRUE. That's why Josh Martin was signed at least till January. This is Going to be one Hell of a Loss for Notts and will have a Huge Impact on the Magpies

Good idea to have this, I'm always losing track of who is and isn't it fit. As for signing additional players for cover under the new rules we can't sign anyone on loan now, that has to be done i

its a bit of a concern when we have so many out during a key stage but i hope we can manage. david mcgoldrick is a big miss, i am pleased jodi jones is not serious. we could do with scott robertson, but hes out pretty much for the rest of the season and i think we do miss lewis macari.

Sam Austin was not in the squad against Tranmere. He's had a setback & will need to have a scan.

Alex Bass's injury sustained early in the first half against Grimsby will be assessed by Notts this morning.

Stuart Maynard reported in his post Grimsby presser that Bass had turned his ankle over.

If Bass is out for any length of time will Notts go for emergency goalkeeping cover by bringing someone in?

Six players out every week on average has been an unfortunate negative constant this season. It will arguably have cost Notts an automatic promotion spot by the season's end.

Stuart has done well to juggle his squad to keep Notts as competitive as possible despite the number of injuries.

After 3 players suffered cruciate ligament injuries last season I thought we’d have a touch more luck with injuries this season. Yes luckily, we’ve not had season ending injuries so early into the season this time round but the constant niggles that have turned into months out has been a massive hinderance.

Injuries are always going to happen over a season though and that is sometimes just where the whole element of luck comes in. I think back to when we got promoted from the National League at worst we had a couple of players out for a month or two, but they were never our best players.

More bad news on the injury front.

Nick Tsaroulla will be out for the rest of the season due to surgery on his appendix.
