Will Crawley ever catch up?

Featured Replies

After another PP Crawley seem to be struggling to get all their matches in.

2 schools of thought on this.

One, they will be knackered so fatigue should set in and help us out.

Two, they put a few wins together and the momentum helps push them up the league playing twice a week for a while.

Difficult one to judge as you never can tell at the bottom of the league what will really happen

I guess it depends on the mentality of their players.

It will either hinder or bring them closer together, I personally would be wary if I was their manager but we was in a similar position a few years back and we did alright actually. If they get a couple of good results, I see no reason why it would hinder but set backs like suspension, injuries and bad results could be a contributing factor. Plenty of times in and around, if we play our own cards right. We might not need to rely on Crawly's down fall!

That said, it would be ideal if we did.

A field where dreams become reality.

This will only hurt Crawley. They were in quite a comfortable position when they played us at the end of December, think that was the last time they played at home? Now they're really having to look over their shoulders. They're going to end up with a lot of football being played on their pitch in a very short space of time so the pitch wont have much grass on it. I reckon they could find themselves in the relegation scrap. We were in a very similar position to them during the 2010-11 season, having plenty of games in hand thinking we'd be fine...

The pitch might be an added problem!

If they struggle good, if it means we have more chance of staying up. sink the f**kers, all the money they have spent and their fans who forget about where they came from. You can go back!
