Here's a conundrum PON members. What's your strongest team when everyone is fit?

Hopefully in January all the injured players will return & be available for selection, but once Stuart has all his players back, he will have a big headache..

Who does he pick for his starting 11, & Subs bench, & who does he leave out?

If I had to choose this would be my starting 11 & players on the bench.

Bass,

Platt, Ness, Bedeau,

Jones, Abbott, Palmer, Tsaroulla,

Crowley, Grant,

Jatta.

Subs,

Didzy, Edwards,Macari, Robertson, Scott, Austin, McDonald.

Those players missing out would be Hinchy, Cundy, Gordon, Martin & Brown

its hard to see macari not in the team but lucas ness does seem to be more switched on as a centre back. not that i think macari does not do well, i just feel he might be better out wide. the rest of the squad, i do think will look the same as @Robbie wrote.

the bench would look a lot more stronger in both attacking and defending.

I think we need to look at form also when deciding who to play, the return of injured players would most likely see the likes of Kellan Gordon fall out of the team. I really want him to do well, and shows Stuart Maynard we are better with him on the bench but as of late I haven't been all that impressed. Jacob Bedeau, Matty Platt, Alex Bass, Jodi Jones, Nick Tsaroulla, Matt Palmer, Dan Crowley, George Abbott and Jatta are all players I would try to fit into my selection if I were SM.

The good thing is with returning players, and potential new signings it means that we should be able to keep the selections balanced. Fresh legs will be able to come in, so the rotation will be just as important as who starts.

That’s a team that’s good enough for promotion. I still think we need to sign another striker. Not at all convinced by Scott at this level. And I do wonder if the absence of an extended contract means that Crowley will be off to a team in the top half of League 1 or the bottom half of the Championship.

I struggle to leave Didzy out. A better option than Grant if you ask me. I`m impressed by Ness and at this moment I do prefer him slighly ahead of Macari.

I prefer Tsaroulla on the right and Jones on the left.

Bass,

Ness, Platt, Bedeau,

Tsaroulla, Abbott, Palmer, Jones,

Crowley, Didzy,

Jatta.

I think there's room for rotation among the striker department. Jatta is an excellent player, but sometimes he's better coming off the bench on rare occasions. He would make my first team if I wrote it down on paper. Scott Robertson could easily come into the team, allowing us to play Matt Palmer further up and still leave room for George Abbott. What strikes me is the amount of room for rotation. Plus, if we sign quality players in January, we should be onto a winner.

I think if we sign players in January, the squad could look a bit different. Bass, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Abbott, Palmer, Crowley, Jones, and Tsaroulla make a great team to support Jatta or a new striker. I still hope we give Cedwyn Scott a chance to play in his natural position. Both Scott and Scott Robertson could easily fit into the first team, but they also make the bench stronger.
