It's a cloudless morning here but very chilly, being only 4C. It is forecast to cloud over later in the morning. No rain has been forecast.

Planning to do a bit of garden work later this morning.

Good morning a new week starts. It’s a sunny start here but at here’s a chill in the air, we are going to shampoo the dining room carpet today, I bought a carpet shampooer ages ago and haven’t used it properly yet so this will be a good test.

Have a great day everyone.

@Robbie I moved your post from last weeks chat to this one.

It's been a decent day here. Managed to get out into the garden & do plenty of weeding & picking up old tree leaves from around the house.

Also walked ten thousand steps so all in all it was a busy day for both of us.

Good morning, it’s a cloudy start but dry so far.

We are taking the grandchildren bowling if we can drag them out of bed. It should be a good game.

It’s not the only game I’ve been playing lately, eh @Robbie😉

Good morning, we've had some welcome rain overnight here. I'm sure Gardners will be welcoming some rain.

Never been into online word games @Fan of Big Tone but maybe I'll give it a go one of these days, but on the other hand maybe not.

I'm much more into reading about current affairs & advancing my knowledge by reading interesting articles like here on PON & online.

Where's the promised rain?

It's turned back west instead of coming east.

The bowling was good with the grandkids, Grandad showed them how to do it and won both games, not cheap at £53 for 4 of us but good to get them off their devices for the afternoon.

Good morning, happy Wednesday. I think it has rained during the night it doesn’t look as if we’ve had a lot though.

Tonight we are going for a meal for a friends birthday, she hasn’t got a clue we’ll be there so it should be fun seeing her reaction, I hope it’s a good one.

Have a good day everyone.

I started today by updating the league table; I was busy at the weekend, but I did update it after Notts had played. It's Saturday's fixtures I missed, but that's all correct now. I have been looking at ways I might be able to include the home and away form. Along with some other coding jobs, such as finally managing to grant permissions to edit the news ticker outside of the admin team.

Once I had sorted the updates, I messaged a couple of the team members and I do hope @Piethagoram is okay.

Also, since my main device is my laptop and it's a gaming one, I have to frequently clean it. I have mentioned this in the past, it collects dust etc. very easily and then starts to sound like it's trying to launch itself into space. I didn't clean the inside, but the outside is now fine and I am hopeful to find the screw size for the underneath as I am missing one and a few of the others really could do with being replaced.

---

It's quite a lovely afternoon. I am downstairs in the living room, and my youngest daughter is to the right of me listening to music through her headphones whilst playing games. The sun isn't blinding me, but providing a nice burst of light. It's a bit quiet, as Jake isn't home right now. It's days like this, I wished I could go to visit my dad and hang out, but I am mindful of my body and overdoing things.

I hope every member and visitor who reads this is having a lovely day. 👍

It's still very windy here & only 10 Deg. We were promised rain today but except from having a few spots of rain, for 10 minutes or so, nothing of substance has transpired.

Now this late afternoon we are getting sunny intervals. Looks like I'll be watering the plants tomorrow.

Wow, what a beautiful morning here. Not a cloud in the sky. What a change to the weather here in just 12 hours.

It looked like winter yesterday with strong winds & low temperatures. Now it's back to summer again.

That's the British weather for you.

Good morning a lovely sunny start here but I guess it might be a bit chilly, I’ve not ventured out yet.

We went to a birthday meal for our friend last night, it was a long drive to the back of beyond, I can’t say we really enjoyed it, the only person we knew was the birthday girl, it was in a busy, loud gastro pub, I was on the end of a long table for 8 and couldn’t really join in the conversations. Our friend was completely overwhelmed and spent the night crying, we then had to drive back late at night in the dark. Not really our scene.

It’s been a lovely day we had a walk down to the cemetery to tend our sons grave, he’s just behind his grandma and grandad, whilst his other grandparents are across the other side of the cemetery along with his great grandma so it’s a proper family gathering.

Then we sat in the garden and I mowed the lawn.

Tonight I’ll be watching the match and hoping for the best.

I had a very enjoyable stroll to my local convenience store this morning. It felt quite warm in the sun but the pleasant breeze was cooler in the shade. It turned a bit cloudy later but brightened up again, so I managed to tidy up some of the branches that the landord next door had cut from the trees that overhanged from my garden.Very good of him to throw them all all back into my garden,NOT.I will be listening to the Notts game later tonight and hoping for a win for all you Magpie fans.

I read somewhere that you are supposed to do that because those branches are your property and it could be deemed as stealing if he took them.

Yes @Fan of Big Tone,I've read that too but very annoying when the branches were just thrown back over to my side with no regard as to where they landed .Also considering the time it took for all the rubbish to be removed from the access entrance(access for his tennants convenience and put their by his last tennants)

Some very important matches in League 2 today involving teams in the top ten of league 2.

It will be much clearer at the end of the day whether Notts will still be fighting for an automatic promotion place or have to content themselves by playing for a playoff place.

Let's hope that the results today will be favourable for Notts.

Good morning, it’s Good Friday and we haven’t got any hot cross buns, I wonder if the local birds bakery is open this morning? If not it’ll be a trip to Morrisons but I’d prefer to get them fresh from the bakers.

Yes I am @Fan of Big Tone.Didn't really get going till second half but I thought their pinball goal was a bit fortunate and offside. We were virtually camped in their half the second half  but there seemed to be an invisible force keeping the ball out of their net.Luton did defend very well but were also very lucky.I felt really low at the end of the game. It seemed that everything was against us.What with the neverending injuries and questionable officials ,but not all bad news with later results. For neutrals a very exciting end to seaon coming up but not what I was hoping for today,Rams and Notts fight on.
