Good morning it’s matchday,I’ll be going on my own today as Chloe is going to a gig in Manchester with her dad, some group I’ve never heard of.

Looks like it’s going to be a damp day. Have a good one everybody, fingers crossed for 3points.

It is overcast here with & it is raining.

Looking forward to the game today & to see how all the results in League 2 play out.

I am hoping that Notts will be closer to a playoff place & still in contention for an automatic promotion spot.

I'm also very sorry to have learned of the passing of Pope Francis this morning. May he rest in peace.

Good morning, at least some of us are smiling this morning eh @super_ram?

The sun is out and it’s going to be a lovely day so I’m going to make the most of it and get in the garden. I’ve decided to revive my winemaking hobby, I’ve already started a batch of rhubarb wine going, next I want to try parsnip which I’m told is very good. I asked my son if he could save me 6 empty wine bottles he replied he’d have them for me in a week, hmmm, I hope he was joking.

Enjoy your day folks and don’t forget it’s only football, someone wins, someone loses.

Decent start to the day here with plenty of sunshine. It has clouded over now & the forecast is showers into the evening.

After the initial disappointment at the loss yesterday, I believe we can still hope Forza playoff place comes the season's end.

Our playoff future is still in our hands & & there is still much to play for. Once in the playoffs a team can win promotion without winning any of the three matches they would be scheduled to play in regulation time.

Hi @Robbie apparently St. George’s Day is on 28th this year something to do with it being near Easter.

@Fan of Big Tone

The church of England has moved the date, however there are other Christian denominations in the UK & abroad that haven't .

For example, Methodist churches have not changed the date of St. George's Day this yeat. The date is traditionally celebrated on April 23rd. While the Church of England has adjusted the date this year, it's not a change that affects other denominations, including Methodists.

Well it sounds like folk who celebrate St. George’s Day can have two celebrations this year.

I don’t think I’ll bother celebrating either day to commemorate a Turkish chap who apparently never came anywhere near England.

That's your choice but many people in the UK do.

And today is the traditional day to commemorate St George. So those who called today as St George's day were not wrong.

Just making sure everyone knew that.

I’m sure they do and I wouldn’t want to decry anyone who does celebrate today or the 28th. I wasn’t criticising you or anyone else just stating my opinion.

I popped over to see @super_ram with Jake earlier.

It was nice to get a walk, but very painful (feet/leg-wise). I had hoped to go over on Tuesday, but I knew there was little chance. I thought it was quite nice, a gentle breeze and not exactly cold or overly warm. Right now, I am just doing various things on here and behind the scenes.

I'm not fussed about St George either, but it is a nice excuse to eat one of the fresh hot cross buns Mrs Sausage made at the weekend. And it's handy we're having an "official" day as I've got a Sam Smith's outmeal stout I forgot to put in the fridge. Not that I need much of excuse for either!

It was very changeable here today. The weather didn't seem to know whether to brighten up or to rain. The sky is cloudless at the moment as the lovely sunshine begins to dim.It was nice to get a visit from @Chris and  @Jake in the afternoon.

You're still in Germany, right? Would celebrating Saint George's Day be a wise move? Mind you, it might be more forgivable than Sam Smith. 🤣

Oh right, not that Sam Smith. ;)

It's a cloudy morning here with just a few breaks & sunny intervals. We have been promised warmer weather as we go into next week.

I'm very pleased to see that the blossom on our two apple trees are really wholesome this spring. Looks like the early spring weather has been perfect for blossom growth.

Good morning its cloudy here too.

I've been busy updating the ticker at the top of the page and featuring new topics and unfeaturing old topics.

Mrs. T is playing with her new air fryer so I'm expecting something scrumptious for lunch. Hopefully the sun will come out this afternoon and we can have a walk.

I’ve been getting around more easily lately, but I still need to find somewhere to live as I’m planning to move in with my girlfriend. Today’s been a nice change, feeling more motivated to do things. I hope everyone else on PON is doing well. How’s everyone?

Good morning it’s a lovely start to the day here.

@CliftonMagpie it’s good to see you posting on the weekly thread there’s normally only about 3 or 4 of us even look at it let alone post. I wish more people would get involved it’d be nice to get a community feel around the forum and see posts about everyday things not just football.

Anyway I’m glad to hear you are getting about more now and starting a new chapter in your life moving in with your girlfriend how exciting. Make the most of it my friend before you get old, spend every day like it’s your last, there will be ups and downs along the way but life is good.

Overcast here with rain in the air. It's 10 Deg C & there should be a high of 15 Deg C later on in the afternoon.

Been out this morning running some errands for the Mrs. Bought a few goodies for the weekend.

Just over 24 hours before the big match. The biggest game of the season so far. In effect it is almost a playoff decider.

There’s still plenty of energy in you, Tone, but I will take your advice nonetheless. I hope all is well with you and Mrs Tone. It’s nice to be back. I didn’t mean to sound frustrated or like I was complaining before. Now that I’m back, I’m roaring to go again.

Maybe other members will join in eventually. I think topics like this are good for the community.

Good morning, it’s matchday and two massive matches today for Notts and Derby, I know @super_ram will be keeping everything crossed that Derby can win. I wish both teams the best of luck, let’s hope we are all smiling later.

First I’m going to Park Run where it’s a special day as they want as many new people as possible to do a Park Walk, so it’ll be busy, I’ll mostly run but might walk to catch my breath once or twice.

Have a wonderful day everyone. COME ON YOU PIES AND RAMS.

I am absolutely knackered @Fan of Big Tone.I've just spent over 90m minutes kicking and heading every ball after watching the Rams in a very nervy relegation battle.I also listened to Notts before .Both my teams now have a very important last day of the season.
