After just eight months at Carlisle, our Wembley hero is on the move again - this time very close to home at South Shields of the National League North. There was an undisclosed fee.

Hope he can finally get playing and scoring regularly now!

Wish Cedwyn lots of luck at South Shields. If he can score a few goals I'm sure it will do his confidence a power of good.

I don’t think he pushes himself enough because of his mental health, but the main thing is his happiness and the joy he gets from playing football.

Carlisle should have allowed him to go with a free mind, as that would have been in keeping with what we did. Good luck to him, he’s far better than that level.

Cedwyn Scott is better than the level South Shields are at, so he should fit in and refind himself with them. I just hope he can maintain a positive attitude towards playing, because if he moves on and this becomes a regular thing, then his career could be hindered. I hope he manages to make South Shields a competitive team and that he can earn a promotion with them.

I do find it weird when managers say the club signed a player because he fit the system then, but that it has changed and they can't find a place for him, It's basically suggesting he's not good enough.

A field where dreams become reality.

With the Injury he had at Notts and the Departure of both his Mate Macca and Luke Williams, it certainly had a Big Effect on his Mental Health. I think if Luke Williams had still been in charge at the Lane, then Cedwyn may have adopted better once he had returned from injury. Williams had a Great Relationship, with his players as stated by them in their many interviews, something Stuart Maynard couldn't compete with, because he was on a huge learning curve himself. As it's been stated by other members on here Cedwyn is above the level he now finds himself at, and hopefully he'll prove he still as the ability to score plenty of goals.

But whatever lies ahead in his Footballing Career, he will always be remembered for his Penalty, which Returned the Magpies back to the EFL. Thanks Ceds.

Cedwyn scored for South Shields today and they have now won five in a row.
