The day hasn’t started well for me, I’ve lost a filling so that means another visit to the dentist. Sigh.

You’re dead right mate, I’m off to the dentist this morning at 10am to hopefully sort out the filling, I’m almost on first name terms with my dentist. 😂

Funny weather here today.Bright and sunny one minute then proper miserable and threatening rain the next.I was about to make my weekly visit to the local shop when there was a rumble of thunder.I decided to wait a bit before going.Good decision .No further thunder but plenty of rain.

I’ve got a lady dentist who’s Bulgarian, she wants to see me again on Monday, I think I’ve pulled, she definitely has pulled (my teeth) several times.

Not got many left up top now so a partial denture, she said 2.40 for the appointment on Monday, I replied it should have been tooth hurty I bet she hasn’t heard that before. 😂

I spent some quality time with Jake yesterday; we went to see Super. It was nice to catch up, though we turned up unexpectedly, and at first we thought he might have gone out. My friend is on about teaching Jake the basics of driving, so that he can have lessons without throwing money down the drain. He's been a massive support to us, and I am very thankful to have a friend like him and his partner.

They have been trying to get Cal's seat number from Notts, but the past two home games we have had random, casual fans, from the looks of it, sitting between us.

Today has been very slow for me, and I wouldn't describe it as a good one, either. I don't really want to go into it, but my hands feel everything is a lot heavier than it is. Really hoping things improve for the weekend, as I am looking forward to watching Notts.

I’ve been making some userbar ideas. I’ve done three so far, all in different colours. I’m planning to do some with players on them too. I think they’ll make people’s signatures look more fun and show a bit of who they support.

The only other thing is going back to school. I’m not really looking forward to that.

In other news don’t forget your mobile may sound an alarm today at 3pm assuming you have emergency alerts switched on, it’s just a test so don’t panic a real alert could be to warn of a flood, fire, extreme weather or even a nuclear attack, let’s hope that never happens.

I had a walk with Jake today, another excuse for him to look for more of those Premier League trading cards he has started collecting. He unpacked a signed Everton player, which is hand-signed and one of x amount. He even gave me one of Ian Wright, as they are including some club legends in the series, and it's a very nice card.

It's proudly in a plastic sleeve and top loader, so it's safe. I never did this when I was younger; I collected them and would look at the cards. I never really cared if they had value; I just liked having them.

It presented the perfect opportunity to pay a surprise visit to Super, and we intended to be there for about an hour, but we stayed much longer as we talked about things and caught up. Leaving just in time to get something that was being cooked back at home. The positives were my legs only seldomly hurting while walking, and I don't feel too bad.

A much more positive week than it had started.

Yes a very nice surprise.I wasn't expecting a visit & it gave me an excuse not to do any weeding or other garden work today.Anyway it wasn't exactly sunny and inviting in the garden.

It’s back to school tomorrow. I’m hoping the day goes quickly and doesn’t feel like it’s dragging. The first day back always seems to move slowly and can be a bit dull. It’ll be nice to catch up with my friends, but for me, the day really starts at 3:15pm.
